SUPER!! A really friendly and good taxi driver Dibya brought us deep in the night to the foot of the Vulcano. Then Yus our guide took us to the top! He really looked after us, made sure we w're alright and made a lot of jokes. Good stories, good breakfast at the top! In the end the view was incredible and we highly recommended to take this special trip with Dibya and Yus!

We took the Mt Batur Sunrise tour. Booking was easy and confirmation was very quick. I received a WhatsApp message with contact number for Justin immediately. Justin coordinated the tour and sent instruction of things to prepare. I also received the contact number of the driver. Our driver Yosi was excellent and turned up early for our pickup. The long drive from Nusa Dua was smooth and Yosi choose the smoothest route possible. We met our guide Wi at the village and started boat ride and trek. The head lamps and walking stick worked very well and Wi took very good care of us. There were slippery parts that he pulled me up and he always made sure we were safe. I was grateful for the 1 hour trek instead of a 3 hour one that others took on Mount Batur. The view was lovely and the hot and simple breakfast was a nice touch. Views of Mt Abang and Mt Agung were a bonus. We opted to go to Akasa cafe on the way back. The view and food were well worth the stop. Thank you Justin and your team for an amazing day out!

Our recent adventure to Mount Batur was an absolute gem! We opted for a lesser-known route that proved to be a great choice. The journey began with a serene boat ride across Lake Batur. As we ascended the caldera rim, we were greeted by a sea of pillowy clouds. While the sunrise was obscured, the view was still breathtakingly serene. Watching the landscape slowly emerge from beneath the clouds was a unique and memorable experience. Our guide - Nawas - was exceptional, sharing local insights and ensuring our comfort throughout the trek. The whole experience felt intimate and tailored, a far cry from the tourist-packed trails we'd heard about. If you're looking for an authentic Bali adventure that combines natural beauty, cultural immersion, and a touch of the extraordinary, this hidden Mount Batur trek is an absolute must-do. It's a perfect blend of accessibility and awe-inspiring views, making it suitable for adventurers of all levels.

There wasn’t a single moment we didn’t love on this trip! More than anything, it was involving and hearing stories from locals that made it special. Justin who communicated with us prior and Kadek Lita, our driver who was energetic despite the early in the morning made us more excited than we already were. The cute nenek that lived in the mountains who brought us hot tea, coffee and breakfast on her head right as we hit the peak was so heartwarming. Our champion of the trip was Wi our guide, a free-spirited individual who held a sea full of experiences just growing up in this beautiful island. Talk to him through the morning and you’d find him to be this humble person who’ll made your trek experience so comfortable :) This is not a Mt Batur Trek but if you love a crowd-free, less touristy experience that gives you the luxury to appreciate the peaceful sunrise view of 5 mountains at peak, this is totally worth the early morning call time! When we were done with the trek, we couldn’t even tell which was the mountain we bashed through 😂 Love the ambiguity and experienced by less, this would be it :) Not forgetting to mention the sky full of stars crossing the lake at Mount Batur with our own private boat, it was an absolutely amazing view this experience wouldn’t be complete if we had missed it. One of our most memorable moments here!

The hike was hard (more difficult than we anticipated, good cardio fitness required), but it was worth it to get to the top. We had the top of the mountain to ourselves, and the sunrise was amazing. Breakfast was provided by a lovely local family. Both guide and driver were extremely helpful, especially as I was nervous descending the mountain. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to see the sunrise without the crowds and noise.
