It was great to see a part of the 'original' Bali in the traditional rice paddies and villages around Sidemen. The walk was really interesting with our guide explaining how the rice is cultivated and irrigated. Very good trip to do with kids!

I went on a guided Sidemen rice terrace trekking with my friends, and it was amazing! We saw how the locals live and work around the rice fields - it was a real eye-opener. The people in Sidemen village were really friendly and we had a great time learning about their way of life. We even got to see how much work goes into maintaining the rice fields as we walked through them. Overall, it was really fun trekking with Agus, he is witty and funny, and knows everything about the area and I totally recommend it to anyone who wants a cool cultural experience in Bali. The rice terraces were beautiful and the guide and locals made the whole thing unforgettable. Don't miss out on this adventure!

Walking through the rice terraces of Sidemen with our guide was very informative and eye opening. We got a much better understanding of the importance of rice to the Balinese. It was also a very pleasant and picturesque walk, with the afternoon sun giving the fields a golden glow. You'll definitely get muddy! Can even take off your shoes and give your feet a little mud spa treatment :) Best part of all is that there are no other tourists around! You get to explore this place all to your self.
