I highly recommend this trek with seek Sophie! From pick-up to drop off we were very happy with our experience. Our driver was very communicative and on time for pick-up. Our guide, Mister, was great - very friendly, funny and knowledgeable. Although it’s an early morning start, the view at the top is so worth it. We also liked that the hike was pretty private - it was just the two of us and our guide which made the hike much more enjoyable as we could go at our own pace and the trails were also not packed.

This experience was 10/10. We wanted to do a sunrise hike but we felt that Mt Batur was a bit too intense for us, so we opted for this hike instead and it was very good. It took us around an hour to get to the top and our tour guide Denis was very patient and helpful with us (we needed a lot of brakes). The top of the mountain was magical and tranquil. Definitely recommend!

Our guide Ari was very knowledgeable, she made sure we felt safe trekking in the dark and made us a great breakfast at the top of the mountain! The meeting point was well organized and easy to find, I would definitely recommend this experience!

I had such a wonderful experience on the Batur Caldera hike! The view was absolutely breathtaking — we could see four mountains and had a direct view of the sunrise.
Our guides, Kadek and Wi, were amazing — very friendly, helpful, and confident. As locals who know the area extremely well, they made me feel completely safe and at ease throughout the hike.
This isn’t the classic Mount Batur hike, which makes it even more special. The spot we visited is privately owned by the team, so we were completely alone at the top — no crowds at all! They even set up small tables for us to sit comfortably and enjoy breakfast while watching the sunrise. It was such a peaceful and magical moment.
A special shoutout to Wi, who’s also a fantastic photographer — he captured some truly beautiful photos!
Overall, it was an amazing and unique experience. I loved learning about local life and stories from our guides. The mountains and Lake Batur are simply magical. Highly recommended! 🌄✨

I had an absolutely amazing experience on this trip with two of my friends. The one-hour trek to the top was just the right amount of challenge — refreshing, a bit exhausting, but very rewarding. When we reached the summit, we were greeted by the most gorgeous sunrise over the mountains. It was truly unforgettable and worth every step. Highly recommend!

Wonderful hike and breakfast sunrise. What made it A+ was our guide Wi. I am an elderly woman. It was hard but I swear he would have carried me himself. There were only 7 of us on the entire mountain near Mt Batur. Skip the crowds and have the experience of a lifetime.

I loved the hike! The whole experience was great from the pick up by our very skilled and friendly driver to the guide who brought us up to the peak! Our guide is so familiar and experienced with the trek and definitely felt like we are in good hands! Love that the path is way less busy felt like we had a private hike to ourselves! Small n cozy group which I 100% recommend. No crowd no rush, everything at your own pace 🤩

An amazing tour, such a private experience and incredible views at the top the guides were great, really helpful and informative and although the trek was hard, it was worth it for the view and sunrise...it felt that you really had this place to yourself!
