What an amazing trip! I can’t recommend it and this company enough! Within minutes of booking everything was confirmed. Our host has contacted us and provided all necessary information before our trip. The next morning we were picked up by Yoga. This gentle soul has taken such a good care of us the whole day! He really managed to convey his love for his village which we had an opportunity to visit. There took another guide us on a jungle treck and canoe paddle. Thereafter a nice lunch at the villages guest house. And after that - the highlight of the trip - the visit to the magically beautiful waterfalls. With no other tourists around. What a gem! There was also a visit to the market, tons of delicious fruit, a lot of interesting information about the nature and kind, and the best: warm welcoming everywhere. Loved every minute of it!

An authentic experience ! We could emerge into the balinese religion and Putu and her family helped us all through the experience. We were there for the New Moon and could cleanse and let go of everything. We felt restored and recharged. Such a blessing 🙏

I enjoyed the bike ride & the breakfast & lunch included in the tour was a full meal which I appreciated. I wished there were more photo opportunities. I didn’t get any photos cycling into the forest nor along the route. The only photo stops were the ones at the temple and in the middle of the rice fields. We were only asked once whether we wanted to go off road (not multiple times like some other reviews). Took the off road and it was more challenging than I thought but I enjoyed it anyway. As someone who leaned about the rice fields in Geography syllabus , I wished the guide gave us a more complete narration of rice planting in Bali. But it was overall a good tour, although a tad short on distance. Appreciated that it was mostly downhill.

We loved our excursion with The Getaway Camp Bali! Our hosts Nalom and Gede were amazing, and they made us feel so connected to the real Bali. It was great to get to explore Bali from a local’s standpoint, and an even bigger plus that it was sustainable and we were able to give back to the Balinese people. If swimming in Waterfalls and trekking through nature are your thing, highly recommend! And we also had AMAZING food provided. If we’re back in Bali, we’ll be sure to book another excursion with The Getaway Camp Bali!
