Specially designed for all adventure seekers, this kayaking trip is the perfect introduction to the Pulau Ubin mangroves (no kayaking experience required)! Suitable for kids 4+ and up, under their parents' supervision. This experience is also pet-friendly (so long as your pet can fit in the kayak - ~20kg is still ok!). Option Highlights✅ Gorgeous mangrove views to get upclose to nature ✅ Heartfelt kayak guides who will introduce the wildlife of the area to you✅ Rare chance to see local kelongs from upclose (floating fish farms)More DetailsThis option is one of the most comprehensive out there and good for kayakers of all levels (beginners welcome!). On the way back, visit the local Kampung houses to sneak a peek at the lives of the past generations. You will also get to buy fresh fish directly from local fishermen in the kelongs if you'd like! This is often the highlight for many locals as it provides a rare glimpse into the life of local fishermen. Please note that a visit to the kelong may not be possible given the additional distance which is required to paddle. This is only possible if everyone in the group is strong enough to add the additional distance required. Please Note: SerendipET provides open double kayaks, and has a limited number of single kayaks which are used only in the event there is an odd number of participants. Due to the nature of this activity, it's almost 100% chance you will get wet (including your trousers and shoes!). Please wear clothing that you don't mind getting wet. Child-FriendlyThis experience is suitable for children from the age of 4 and up, provided they know how to swim. Child life jackets will be provided. Pet-Friendly You can bring your pets on the kayak with you. Please do let us know when you book if you intend to bring your pet. Depending on the size of your pet (ie whether you’re ok squeezing with it on a kayak), you can have two dogs on a two person kayak. We have had customers bring their dog around 20kg on the kayak before - the general rule of thumb is that if you don’t mind squeezing with your dog on the kayak, it’s ok with SerendipET. Note: when bringing your pet across from Changi Ferry Terminal to Pulau Ubin Jetty, you must have your pet in a carrier while onboard the bumboat. Otherwise you may be denied permission to enter or be required to charter the entire bumboat rather than pay the usual per person fee.
