Can we use the discover singapore voucher for this ?
Dowell, 20 Apr 2021
Hi Dowel.
Unfortunately, we are not able to accept the Singapore rediscover voucher for our programs here :)
Hello What time normally do the tours start. Thanks
Markus Steger, 16 Mar 2021
Hello Markus,
Thank you for your questions.
The tour starts from 8.30 am to 12.30 pm.
We are a group of 6 interested in the private Mangrove Kayaking on 2 Apr (Fri). May I understand what the tide will be like? I heard that the Mangrove Kayaking experience is dependent on the tide and right now we are towards the end of the season. Can you advise what the experience would be like (ie. limited rivers/trails due to low ride, etc.)?
Look forward to your response.
Cheers,
Sharon
Sharon Leung, 04 Mar 2021
Hi Sharon,
Thank you for your questions,
The tides change every day, and for the 2nd of April will be rising from 8.30 am. Which would be around the time to start the expedition.
This means that as you are entering the mangroves, the current will be going inwards towards the island.
And as you are heading out, the current may be going against you.
However, this wouldn’t affect the kayak activity as the currents in the mangroves are very minimal due to how the mangroves are structured.
You can expect things to get a little bit muddy on the way up to Puaka Hill.
Rest assured, the kayaking experience will not be affected at all
