Private Mangrove Kayaking in Ubin (Available Daily)
good guides - very knowledgeable, clear, friendly. Was a nice relaxed little family trip with 2 adults and 2 children (12 and 9). Great trip for beginner level and/or families. Nice stop off and floating fish farm at the end and purchased 5 fresh lobster which were very tasty.

Kayaking into the mangrove swamps was a close experience with nature and the hike up the hill was filled with knowledge from the guides. The rain at the Kelong also enhanced the mood for some indoor photography!

Helpful Questions from Other Travellers

Q
Hi, I have three kids aged 7, 8 and 10, so there will be a total of five pax. In this case, will we be able to join this kayaking trip? Hope to hear from you soon.
A
Hi Jane, Thank you for your question, Yes! You and your children can join this kayaking trip, please check our calendar to see the schedule :)
Q
Hi, are we able to use our SingaporeRediscover vouchers for this?
A
Hi Audrey, SerendipET isn't registered for SingaporeRediscover, so you won't be able to use the vouchers here.
Q
Hi, can kids aged 5-7 join? My husband and I could take one of them in each kayak.
A
Hi Camila! Thank you for your questions. Yess! Your kids can join as long as they are comfortable :)
Q
What time do I need to be at Changi Point Ferry Terminal in order to reach Pulau Ubin at the meeting time?
A
The bumboats operate non-stop so you don't need to wait very long for one. We would advise being at Changi jetty about 20-25 mins before the meeting time at Pulau Ubin (allowing 10-15 mins max for waiting time, 10 mins for the bum boat ride)
Q
What happens in case of rain? Will I get a refund?
A
If it is a slight drizzle, the trip will go ahead as planned. However if there is heavy rain, the trip will be cancelled. At that point, you can choose to reschedule or receive a refund. The final decision is up to the guide. Usually they will inform you in the morning of the day of the trip.
