Review Body: We booked the Bromo and Ijen tour, our diver Gerry picked us up at the trainstation and we immiadiatly clicked. It was later in the day and he gave us all the time to have some food first before we left and drove us very safely to our first hotel. The hotel was amazing, you couldnt ask for more. More luxurius then we would picked our selves but nothing to fancy, many dinner options and the food was great. In the early morning we got picked up by our jeep, a nice old Land Cruiser in very good condition. The drive up the mountain was incredible on its own. On the mountain self, we came to the conclusion that we definetly were lucky to be with Gerry. He was loved by all other locals and his smile never went away. Also he guided us to the best spot for pictures and he comforted us all the way up. Also he is a very good photographer. After sunset we visited Bromo itself and we could do this on our own by walking, pefectly fine. Next we went to Ijen, a 4 hour drive to the hotel. Wich again was driven very safe by Gerry. This hotel was even more luxurius then the last, after an early night in a very good bed we left very early (23:30) to mount Ijen. Here we met our local guide Lili. We highly appreciated we were guided by him, a local mine worker with lots of experience and the kindest heart and voice. He also was loved by all the local people and we felt very safe walking down the crator with him. In the end we really felt that we booked at the best place, we felt very lucky to be accompanied by Gerry for these 3 days and eventough the small language barrier was there, it was never a problem. His ability to speak English was more then fine for us. Gerry, thank you so much for the experience you gave us, your smile and all the laughs we had!

Review Body: I booked the 3D2N private tour of Mt Bromo and Ijen through SeekSophie, and it was a truly memorable and smooth experience. When I landed in Surabaya, I was warmly greeted by the driver (I regret not getting the correct spelling of his name), who was incredibly thoughtful and attentive throughout the trip. He regularly suggested itinerary adjustments based on traffic and weather, ensuring I still got the best views and experiences at both Mt Bromo and Ijen. He also arranged an excellent jeep driver who looked after me during the Bromo trip, and a kind local guide at Ijen who made sure I felt safe, informed, and well taken care of. What stood out to me as a solo traveler was the driver’s friendliness—he chatted about his life, his family, and the culture, geography, and history of Indonesia, which added a personal and meaningful touch to the journey. I especially appreciated how he made an extra effort to stop for local food and even took me to a rest stop after Ijen so I could freshen up before my flight (a blessing after the sulphur hike!). I’m also grateful for how responsible and responsive the local team was in Surabaya, including Memet from the tour group. They made sure I was taken care of and even asked for photo and video updates to check on their guests’ wellbeing. Thank you, SeekSophie and team, for the thoughtful arrangements. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a stress-free, meaningful adventure in East Java!

Review Body: My friend and I are very blessed to have Afi as our local guide during the 3D2N trip to Mt Ijen & Mt Bromo. He is very knowledgeable and always punctual to ensure we enjoy a comfortable (not rushed) travelling experience. A friendly giant I would call him :). In addition to the above, we were also introduced to delicious & affordable local cuisine. The trip is well planned and both hotels have sufficient amenities to meet our needs. Having a good guide is essential to enjoying our trip aside from the scenic views and i'm glad we achieved that. Review Body: Seek Sophie delivered on every level. My guide, Arif, was fantastic. He was personable, knowledgeable, and made sure I was safe and comfortable the entire trip. That means a lot to a solo traveler like me. Unfortunately, my itinerary had to be modified because of an issue at Ijen which closed the area, but the disruption was handled seamlessly by Seek Sophie and an alternative activity was scheduled by the company. My tours of Mount Bromo and Tumpak Sewa were amazing. I would highly recommend Seek Sophie if you are looking for a tour company to provide services while in Indonesia.

Review Body: I travelled solo and so Arif became my friend for the next 3 days (doesn't limit to only 3 days of course). He was amazing, driving me around in his car was very comfortable. He even brought me up to a hidden view point to overlook Mt. Bromo, there was no one there and my pictures and videos were clear. He also even helped me withdraw cash as my card did not work at the ATM there. He is such a warm & lovely person. And his English was fluent so you won't have any trouble with communication. I'd highly recommend this tour and Arif if you plan to go to East Java!

Review Body: Driver was experienced and friendly. Mount bromo and tumpak sewu was truly stunning, will recommend. The blue fires at Ijen was gorgeous and mesmerising also but the cons are great as well. Getting there is inaccessible and the place is incredibly crowded, disrupting the otherwise scenic volcano. The terrain there is also treacherous, with steep slopes and a rocky terrain within the crater. If u do decide to go, I strongly recommend wearing proper boots to protect ur ankles and u need to be in good physical health to complete the climb

Review Body: The whole trip was so fuss-free thanks to my knowledgeable guide Rafi who never hesitated to give recommendations on local food and hot spots, he even took amazing pictures for me knowing that I was on my own and was always there whenever I needed something. The hospitality was even extended by his family who made me a homecooked indonesian meal on my last day which really touched my heart. I definitely recommend this for the solo travelers as it is so worth it!

Review Body: We had a great tour, everything went as planned and expected. Our driver, Tofa, was very kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and the beds comfy. Do expect both places to be very crowded, it has nothing to do with the tour operator of course. Best option is to avoid week-ends and indonesian holidays if you can. Drivers and guide always help to find the best spots and schedule was anticipated by 30mn every day for that purpose.

Review Body: UNBELIEVABLE EXPERIENCE! We did the Bromo + Ijen private tour with our driver/guide Arif. Amazing guy and always down to help if we needed something. The views are magnificent and the hikes ares do-able. The only downside is lack of sleep because of the sunrises you start hiking in the night but you can sleep before/after! The accomodations and food were also well managed and comfortable. We would recommend 10/10!

Itinerary Description: 02.30 AM: Early morning get ready for Mount Bromo Trip, get on a Jeep and drive 50minute to the viewpoint 05:20 AM: Wait till the sunrise 07:00 AM: Post sunrise, You will proceed towards Bromo crater with private jeep transportation and pass through the desert to the parking rest area. From Parking, we can go to the top of the crater by foot or horse-riding at an extra cost. After enjoy on the Bromo crater and satisfied exploring, we will go back to the hotel for having breakfast and shower 11.00 AM: Check out the hotel then drive you to the Ijen hotel for about 4 hours remaining while stopping on the way to have lunch in a local restaurant. 04.00 PM: Arrive at the hotel and get free time to relax

Itinerary Summary: You will witness beautifull Green Lake!

Itinerary Description: 00.30 AM: Leaving from hotel and start visiting Kawah Ijen for about 1,5 hours from the hotel. 02.00 AM: After arriving at parking lot, start trekking to the top of Kawah Ijen for about 2 hours or 3 KM trekking normally. 04.00 AM: If still possible to go down to enjoy Blue Flame phenomena, you can come down to the bottom of Kawah Ijen about 30 minutes normally. Enjoy blue flame then come up to the top of Kawah Ijen. 07.00 AM: Return down to the parking lot for about 2 hours then have breakfast at a local shop or small warung. 08.00 AM: Drive to Ketapang harbor about 1hour or drop to Surabaya driving 7hours
