Our driver Sarwa Edan picked us (my teenage son and I) up from Ubud right on schedule (2:15 am) and got us to the mountain in quick time (no traffic at that time of day) he was also very helpful with the hot spring which were worth it. Our guide Raka Sidan was great, he got us up there with some great conversations about Bali and the area, we weren’t rushed which was good as I was struggling a little and ended up getting on the back of a motorcoss bike (this was so much fun as I use to ride motorcross when I was younger) Raka got my son up the rest of the way. It not simple climb but once you get up there all the hard work pays off, it was an amazing experience and highly recommend to anyone who is fit. Make sure to bring a jacket or warm clothes as it was pretty cold up there at 5 am.

Splendid time with Yosi and Wii! Yosi brought us through some history about Kintamani and the Caldera Batur while Wii our hiking guide, guided us well through the route and take amazing photos for us too. We also had a chance to tour around the lake to get a little closer to the village culture on the lake.

Our guide, Wi, and Bagus, both were very friendly and spoke English well. We especially enjoyed hiking with Wi and listening to all his stories. He was knowagable and watchful over us. He and Denis took really nice photos of us at the summit too! The team, including Justin (who made all the necessary arrangements), took good care of us. Information was provided in a timely manner and very detailed. We would be happy to book with them again!

We loved this hike! So glad we found this tour. It is off the beaten path and you dont get the same crowds as mount batur. We had just one other group of two with us. The hike is not as long as mount batur but that does not mean itis any less challenging! The breakfast at the top was a great reward for the journey. We got to see the most beautiful sunrise and Wi, our guide, was a great photographer. Yosi our driver was also great conversing with us the whole drive about many different balinese traditions. 10/10 eould recommend!

We had an amazing experience hiking Mt. Batur today, and it was made even better thanks to both our driver and guide. Our driver, Ketut, was fantastic. He told us he’d pick us up at 2 a.m., and he was there exactly on time. The drive from Ubud was smooth, and he kindly let us sleep both on the way there and back, which made the early start much easier. At Mt. Batur, our guide Komang was equally wonderful. He was super friendly, and made the whole experience so enjoyable. At the summit, he took loads of photos of us without us even asking, which was such a thoughtful touch. Both Ketut and Komang were genuinely kind and professional. Highly recommend.

We had such a great experience with The Getaway Camp Bali on the "Munduk: Ancient Jungle Trekking and Remote Waterfalls Adventure" day-trip. All of the host team were amazing - so kind and knowledgeable, and really went out of their way to help us get the most out of our trip. We loved the chance to visit some of the lesser-known waterfalls which were so beautiful (and more quiet / peaceful than the tourist trap ones). Canoeing across the lake wasn't on our wish list for Bali, but it should have been! Also loved the location for breakfast overlooking another lake. Can't recommend enough.

I liked everything about this tour. I am traveling solo and was having a hard time finding an offer as most tours required a minimum of 2 people. I was picked up promptly at 2am (so early). We made it up the mountain more than an hour before sunrise. I found the hike pretty easy but I do a bit of hiking. Scooters make it almost to the top. You do gain a bit of elevation and our guide says not everyone makes it however, but you can always hire a bike while you are there. Some steep patches that might be a bit problematic for some on the way down. Many people wore shorts, but as instructed, I wore pants and a jacket. I would have frozen without them since we were waiting at the top for a while. We had a good breakfast and a reserved spot to view from so we didn't need to fight with crows. No Stress. A special shout out to our guide Yusdinata who was awesome. He answered all our questions about the surroundings and even general ones about Indonesia. He was also our photographer and put extra effort into setting up the shots. He let us stay as long as we liked. He really went the extra mile. After we went to the hot springs and later a coffee plantation. Good trip overall.

I had one of the best days of my trip on this tour. The waterfalls and rainforest were absolutely stunning, and the canoeing was such a unique experience. What really made it unforgettable, though, was my guide, Yoga. He was so kind, knowledgeable, and genuine, he shared his stories with me and made the whole day feel personal and meaningful. I can’t recommend this tour (and Yoga!) highly enough.
