Review Body: We celebrated my husband’s 40th at their very very chic place. We had great food and great ambiance! They were able to accommodate one special request to have the dinner pushed back a bit to do a small group activity. They were flexible and accomodating!
Our guests all went home with full belly full of delicious food (one couple who just returned from a trip to spain said it’s even better than the ones they had there)! Everyone asked me complement the chefs 😊.
Thank you so much for making tonight’s dinner celebration a success!

Review Body: We went to Pam and Ken’s to celebrate our friends’ birthdays and it was AMAZING! the food was delicious - some of the best Spanish food. The octopus and garlic prawns were particularly memorable - better than most of the top places in Singapore! Ken and Pam were also super warm and welcoming and it was really special being hosted by them. Finally the space is gorgeous. Really loved being in their beautiful home and it felt like we were whisked away somewhere different for the afternoon!

Review Body: An incredible private home dining experience. We had a Spanish themed meal with beautifully cooked octopus. The garlic shrimps and mushrooms were absolute favourites especially if you love garlic and the sauces were great dips for bread. The seafood paella with fresh lobster was delicious and the home made Sangria was a perfect accompaniment to the meal. Try Primateve if you haven’t for a hearty meal perfect for a cosy gathering you won’t forget!

Review Body: Our first time experiencing this lunch private dining as part of our department team bonding and a truly memorable event.
I have to say, no words could describe how much we enjoyed our great hosts Li-Ann, Song and Esmonde hospitality, and their personal tour on edible greens around their neighbourhood, it was such an eye opener experience. Next was their cozy warm welcoming home, felt so relaxed once you entered.
We had 2 tables due to our group size of 15 pax. Our food journey started off with self-wrapping Thai appetizer Miang Kham, it was unique dish especially the sauce, topping it up was their refreshing lemongrass drink. Together with their assortment of wild and fresh vegetables that lay around on banana leaf (which serves as tablecloth) you could taste its freshness. The main dishes arrive ... the fresh seafood was amazing and sinfully delicious, perfectly cooked, baked, and prepared - the giant Mud Crab, Tiger Prawns, Squids and Emperor Red Snapper served with delicious dipping sauces. No one on the table was watching their waistline, we finished almost everything that was served.
After our sumptuous lunch meal, our host shared with us their travel stories and played their documentary videos. Talented Chef Song surprise us when he started to play on his piano together with Chef Esmonde who sang, he certainly has a very good powerful voice.
Thanks so much Li-Ann, Song and Esmonde, will definitely be back to try your other authentic menu. Keep up the good work.

Review Body: If you are looking for a unique dining experience and culinary adventure, Primateve is for you. The folks at Primateve truly know their food, immersing themselves in each country, sharing the daily lives of the locals and learning their cuisine firsthand from them.
For their "Japan, Uncharted" menu, the mood was set with a short documentary of their travels which made me feel transported right beside them in Japan!
True to the Japanese culture of thoughtful perfection, every dish was meticulously presented and had a story to tell.
We were fed with appetizers, sashimi, grilled wagyu, two types of fish (salted mackerel and salt baked snapper), dobinmushi... All extremely delicious with fresh high quality ingredients, especially the sashimi.
The highlight was the huge cartoon-looking fish carried out of the oven. It was great fun taking turns to hammer the thick salt crust to reveal the moist fish cooked to perfection underneath. My other favourites were the cold tofu (simple but flavourful) and the spear squid stuffed with herring eggs (first time trying!)
With all the specialty dishes served, our stomachs were bursting by the end. I always wish for more stomach space when dining at Primateve.
Highly recommended if you want excellent food and stories about lesser known cultures!

Review Body: This was our third time dining at Primateve and it was amazing!
First the food - it was one of the freshest and most interesting seafood meals we've had in Singapore. The flame-charred emperor snapper was so succulent and sweet. We added on the crabs and it was so worth it - they were huge and juicy! The vegetables and herbs were also incredibly fresh, and we especially loved the gorgeously sweet and juicy corn. All the produce was top notch and prepared with a lot of care and skill!
We also loved the foraging walk which was very unique. Made us see Singapore in a completely new light, and really a must-do for any foodie who is interested in where their produce comes from!
Best of all, our hosts were incredibly warm, and remembered all the tiny details from the first time we dined with them. For e.g. my mum loved the starter the first time and mopped it all up. This time round, they prepared extra starters so that my mum could eat her fill, plus loads more for takeaway afterward! They really go out of their way to make it a special experience, and it's really the perfect way to celebrate a birthday. Thank you for the amazing time and we can't wait to come back for the Indonesian feast next!!

Review Body: Amazing fun! This was my second time at Primateve (went for the Spanish meal the first time, and Thai seafood grazing experience this time), and it was exceptional.
This time we were celebrating my brother’s 40th birthday, and it was unforgettable. We loved the edible plant foraging walk before the meal as it gave so much context to what we were eating, and it also makes us see the common plants around us with new eyes.
Our hosts were so kind and really went out of the way to make us comfortable. They even raised the dining table so my parents wouldn’t be uncomfortable sitting on the floor during the grazing experience. And they were super attentive and lovely during the meal - even more so than at a fine dining restaurant!
And the food was a FEAST. Hands down some of the best seafood we had in Singapore. We added the mud crabs and were so glad we did - they were incredibly succulent, sweet and huge! And the salt baked fish was out of this world good, especially paired with the homemade sauce. Everything was just so fresh and gorgeous tasting. And the sauces were so yummy we packed some to take home 🥰 Definitely coming back!!

Review Body: It was more than just a private dining experience. The service was superb from the start. It was a team dinner that I helped to arrange. Li Ann (host) was very accommodating, helpful, professional and responsive. She did her best to answer all my queries, accommodate to all my requests and she coordinated everything so well on the actual day. My boss and colleagues couldn't stop praising the food they had, it was fresh and delicious. Not forgetting the talented host who played the piano for all to have a mini karaoke session. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food and experience. Thank you so much! I highly recommend everyone who wants a unique dining experience to book a slot with Primateve.

Review Body: This is my third Primateve meal cos I've absolutely loved my first 2 dinners - super delicious. This time, I tried their Asian seafood platter, and the entire experience was unlike anything I've had before. We had an incredibly tender salt-baked fish, a giant crab and lots of really exotic and wild vegetables.
The environment is also a plus - the house is beautifully designed and decorated with eclectic collectibles from the hosts’ travels. For an authentic experience, we sat on the floor, ate with our hands, listened to how the food was made and what inspired the recipes.
I’ve enjoyed myself and will highly recommend this to anyone looking for a unique dining experience!

Review Body: We had such a wonderful memorable seafood feast at Primateve! The setting was cosy and tropical, and we loved the wide array of fresh produce put together. The herbs/veg tasted, brighter (or sweeter) more aromatic - paired beautifully with their array of sauces. The seafood was so fresh, plump and abundant. Every component was well thought through, paired together beautifully, and our foreign guests had loads of fun soaking up a communal nature-esque S.E.A experience. Our 2 hosts were so warm and generous in sharing their knowledge on cooking/travel. Can’t wait to return to try more of their cuisine! Thanks for a lovely time!

Review Body: I have to say, I enjoyed every single bit of the meal here at Primateve!
From cosy home deco environment to friendly relaxing company~
The menu is perfect, from roast beef and Cajun seafood boil to cioppino and homemade bread, there's something for everyone~
Oh most fun experience - I've learnt how to identify and pick a couple of piper leaves, or chaplu leaves (thai name).
It's the leaf that's used to wrap Thai mieng khem and is grown literally everywhere in Singapore!
Never did i know piper leaves are edible and delicious!
All in all, one of the best dinners/company i've enjoyed~

Review Body: An exquisite home dining experience that surpassed all expectations. The culinary highlights were defined by exceptionally fresh seafood, vegetables and a variety of sauce that celebrated rich, clean flavours. The communal style of dining was a heartwarming and nostalgic approach to food sharing.
Just as remarkable as the meal was the hospitality—Song and Li-Ann are captivating hosts whose warmth and passion shine through every detail. The evening flew by filled with eye-opening conversations. A deeply inspiring host team and an extraordinary meal.

Review Body: First time ever experience on private dining! We were so impressed by the host service (Ian and Li-Ann - hope I spell her name right). As my friends and I work in the hospitality industry, we naturally have higher expectations in terms of service and we are so glad to have chosen Primateve over anywhere else to celebrate one of our friend’s birthday!
The food was simply delicious and ingredients were fresh. Thanks to the host that the birthday girl had an enjoyable night. Keep up the service guys! We’ll definitely be back.

Review Body: First home dining experience and I am loving it already.
The Thai Mieng Khem was the most unique dish, never knew a small dish can produce such intense burst of flavors. 😋
Surf and turf was awesome too, mouth-watering steak and fresh king crab legs 🤤
Food aside, love the interior design of the house, industrial concept yet warm and cozy. Owner was super friendly and entertaining. He can even play a song for you while you have your dinner 😉
