We had an incredible Mt Bromo sunrise tour thanks to our amazing guide, Hirman, and driver, Mr Tops. Hirman gave us just the right amount of local insight, made sure we were fully prepared at every stage, and took us to the best photo spots. His timing and attention to detail really made the experience unforgettable. On top of that, his personality and sense of humour matched ours perfectly; it honestly felt like we were exploring with an old friend rather than a tour guide. Mr Tops was an excellent driver, safe, smooth, and reliable throughout the early morning journey. Highly recommend this team for a seamless and memorable Bromo adventure!

Bromo 2d1n tour was beyond our expectation. Our guide Baroni (Oni) was very kind, polite and prompt. He’s genuine and seemed to be enjoying his job. Weather in Bromo was beyond our control but Oni was very quick to find alternative for us to still enjoy the view. I must say the gloomy and misty weather gave some sort of magical feeling to the whole experience regardless. For Ijen, he engaged another local person to assist us with hiking and again Dika was very professional and kind. Ijen hike was quite challenging but the sight of blue flame and volcanic lake made it all worth it. I would highly recommend this tour and thanks to Seek Sophie for providing this option.

Our 3 day and 2 night tour was a smooth experience from beginning to end. The three sights we visited (Tumpak Sewu, Bromo and Ikeno) were each spectacular in their own way. We were also lucky to have really nice guides for all three tours, with the Tumpak Sewu guide standing out in particular. We felt well looked after, which is great! The reason we deduct a star is because the first hotel we stayed at was not good. The room was warm and damp, and the breakfast we were served was not sufficiently nutritious given that we had just climbed to the crater of mount Bromo. This meant we were super hungry on our way to Ijen. Luckily the hotel in Ijen was really good, both in terms of room and breakfast. Our driver for the whole tour was very friendly, even though his English was poor. At times his driving felt a bit dangerous, but other than that he did a great job.

We loved this adventure. Our drive Achmad (I think) was amazing throughout the trip, although he didn’t speak a lot of English he was attentive to all our needs and very helpful! He also always had a smile even though he must have been tired after all the driving. We first visited the waterfall but unfortunately for us it was pouring with rain and we could only see it for a couple of minutes, I’m sure on a nice day it would have been beautiful. The trip at Bromo was amazing, beautiful sunrise, looking into a live volcano was amazing and so noisy. My favourite part of the trip was Mount Ijen, our guide whose name sounded like Shirley was incredible. The walk up and into the crater was hard work but very doable (my son made it look easy). The blue flame was amazing! The sunrise and the blue lake in the crater was also very impressive. Our guide also made a little video for us of our trip, it nearly made me cry it was so cute.
