This was a wonderful experience despite the fact that we didn’t get a clear view from the top. Communication was clear and timely. The driver arrived on time and was confident on the winding roads.
I’m a pretty remedial walker, but still managed to get up to the top because of WI’s constant encouragement. At points he just pulled me up the slope! If you are in a similar position, then let the team know when booking at they will ensure adequate time.
I took the add on of visiting the Gao Raja waterfall. Beautiful and very quiet.
Would highly recommend.

Incredible trip with the Bali Yok team, we had so much fun and a once in a lifetime experience! Highlight was the really lovely staff - everyone made us feel so welcomed ☺️

This was an amazing experience. We did the 3 day trek and was blown away. We each had a porter that carried all our food and camp setup. The food they cooked for us was amazing and they never repeated a meal. Honestly I have no idea how they do it. Our guide was amazing as well. It was the most challenging hike I’ve done to date (the summit being the hardest) but we made it in time for the sunrise!

Great experience, would recommend. Early start but worth it. Friendly driver and great guide who took initiative with some very cool photos of us!

Great trip, very well organised. We arrived at the summit with plenty of time before sunrise to enjoy a hot drink and breakfast. Our lookout point was not crowded at all, great pics from our lovely guide. We then ventured to the top to look at the crater, again spectacular views. A great morning!

This trip brings you to another hill/ridge that is opposite to Mt Batur. I liked that this route is quiet, there are no other groups or tourist with you (there was only 1 other group). View was 10/10! Guide was amazing as he helped us took multiple photos and videos as well.
I think it might be a relatively less tiring/easier route as compared to climbing Mt Batur.

4/5 stars because guide was late we had to climb fast which was tough luckily we were fit enough for the challenge. Thankfully still managed to get up there 10mins before sunrise. The hike wasn’t tough if we weren’t rushing our way up. We added on a waterfall trip as well. It was very private not many crowds. Absolutely love it

We are SO glad we did this. Heard so
many tales (and saw the flood of jeeps) heading for the standard Mt Bateur walk and this was so unexpected and magical and felt like and adventure. And side note - in addition to watching the sun light up the volcano and the amazing details and history, we had a second guide stand in for the normal lead and he took the most insane photos. Normally not our thing but who even knew iPhones had cinematic mode and they made the world look like this! Seriously recommend (and I hate early mornings.)
