An unforgettable Rinjani experience with Rudy Trekker!
We recently completed a 4D3N expedition to climb Mt. Rinjani with Rudy Trekker, and it was an absolutely incredible experience from start to finish.
Our guide Bruno was exceptional — his deep knowledge of the mountain, calm leadership, and sense of humour made all the difference. It was clear from the very beginning that our safety and comfort were always his top priority, but he also made the trek fun, engaging, and memorable. Bruno’s experience really shone through, from pacing us perfectly on the steep climbs to sharing fascinating stories about the mountain and its surroundings. Our two porters were also outstanding, anticipating our needs and always ready with food, drinks, and smiles.
The food on the mountain far exceeded our expectations — fresh, varied, and delicious, even at high altitude. Hot showers and cold towels were waiting for us after the trek, a very welcome surprise!
Overall, Rudy Trekker delivered an experience that was not only professionally run and safe, but also warm, personal, and full of heart. We cannot recommend them — and especially Bruno — highly enough to anyone planning to climb Mt. Rinjani.

Tour eccellente e ben organizzato in 4 ore si ha modo di vedere un autentico villaggio locale, fare una meravigliosa passeggiata nella foresta, visitare due spettacolari cascate ed avere un panorama dall’alto delle risaie.

We loved our panorama walk!! The traditional village was so interesting and our guide had great insights into all the different plants we saw. The waterfalls were beautiful too :)

We had an amazing half-day trek with Ema. She was so knowledgable and very kind. We were welcomed very warmly and felt safe and looked after at all times. It was very interesting to see the gardens and the way the local people in Senaru live and the hike to the waterfall was fantastic. Prepare yourself for many stairs and bring your swimsuits, because the swim in the waterfall was so fun. Our trip ended with a peaceful lunch in the ricefields, it was really beautiful. I'd recommend this trek to everyone in Senaru!

I had an amazing experience hiking Mt.Rinjani with Rudy Trekker.
Big shout-out to our guide, Kabul, and porters, Davet and Awan (the Black Cobra crew), for providing us with the best hospitality. Kabul was very diligent and always prioritised our safety - he’d make sure we held on to the ropes and pre-empt us on slippery parts. He’d always ensure we were well rested, well fuelled and hydrated throughout the hike. The porters would always try to find us the best camping spots and provide us with the best comfort, and the food they cooked were all so yummy.
The other services provided by Rudy Trekker from before the hike and after were tip-top as well. Am immensely grateful for all the effort they’ve put in to make this such an enjoyable trip for us. 10/10 would recommend!
My advise if you’re considering this hike:
Please listen to your guide and wear the right kind of shoes. Trekking poles are immensely useful for the summit. Always watch your step, the pictures can wait. Stay safe.
