Had a great 3D2N liveaboard trip with SeekSophie, LaFamille and Osiana Alo. Everyone was very kind and accomodating, I had the best trip in Indonesia. They will make sure you have a list of required things to bring before the trip. Good photography and drone shots by our our guide, Alam. Would definitely recommend to all my friends. Met many new friends from all over the world and we had very great memorable time here.

Amazing experience, memorable. This adventure with Kanha Citta Liveaboard will be hard to beat. I looked around, the surrounding boats that anchored at Kalong Island during the last night, I cant help but fell that Our boat is the coolest, as only from Kanha Citta, that people jumped into the sea, freely, a free late afternoon swim before we watched the bats migration. During the night, only our boat and another that have open karaoke on the upper deck. It was so much fun, with Kanha Citta crews, Angelho, Rafael

Really had the trip of a lifetime. Couldn’t believe how lucky we were with seeing everything that we wanted to - turtles, manta rays, komodos and even a dolphin. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, fun and knew the best times for us to visit certain places to miss the crowds or see the wildlife. The boat was clean and comfortable. The rest of the crew were friendly and helpful. The only thing stopping me from giving five stars is how my dietary requirement was handled. I told the company I was vegan when I booked, after booking over email, before arrival over whatsapp and upon arrival. Unfortunately it wasn’t very well comprehended what this meant. When we arrived a snack of a piece of cake was set out for us. When I asked if this was vegan, the crew member didn’t seem to understand what I was asking, and as it likely wasn’t there was no alternative for me to have. Meals on the first day were great with lots of tofu, tempeh and veggies, but on the second day all I was given to eat were carbs. My breakfast was rice and fries, my lunch rice and pasta and dinner more of the same, whilst my peers had multiple plates of chicken, fish and seafood. I asked if I could have some tofu and was told no. I then spoke to our guide and said all I wanted to eat the next day was some tofu/tempeh and veggies if that was okay. When the next day came my breakfast was ‘vegan’ pancakes with cheese on top!! And lunch was deep fried tempeh with rice (no veggies). Its a shame that preparation was not taken to give me better and more balanced meals like my peers were, especially as I had booked and notified far in advance. I would sadly not trust the company to cater properly for an allergy or other intolerance. Overall, it was still the best thing I have ever done and I had an amazing time, it’s just a shame the food wasn’t better handled for me!

We had a brilliant time on the Gandiva and would highly recommend the trip. The boat was comfortable and immaculately kept and the staff were lovely and did an amazing job of looking after us. The photographer was very good and took his job very seriously! Our cabin (an upper level) was small but had everything we needed. Avoid taking big bags as there is nowhere to keep them in the room. The bathroom had a bit of a smell to it which is probably inevitable on a small boat like this. The catering was very generous (possibly too generous as the copious afternoon snacks reduced our appetites for dinner). As a vegetarian they did a great job of catering to my needs even though all the other guests ate meat. I had plenty of choices with each meal. The activities for the first two days were everything we hoped they’d be and more. We were extremely lucky with our wildlife encounters seeing huge manta rays, pods of dolphins, turtles and sharks. As well as excellent coral and fish and of course plenty of dragons! The Komodo dragon tour was well led by a very knowledgeable guide. We got taken to an empty and beautiful pink beach on the second day and it felt like our guides were actively trying to avoid the crowds for us. We were lucky with the weather given we came in off season, but if there had been more than a little bit of rain the boat would have been far less comfortable. The covered area was small and hot - and there were only 6 of us passengers on board. 12 is full capacity and it’s hard to visualise how a full boat would fit into the lounge area if there was rain. Consider the weather and time of year when booking. The only thing that disappointed us was the organisation of the last day. We had been told it was a 3 day 2 night cruise and that we would be returning to port after 1pm on the last day. For reasons I’m not sure of, our last morning was very rushed. We had a brief visit to a very pretty beach where it would have been nice to stay longer, but we were taken back and given a massive “lunch” at around 10.15am. This was only 2 hours after an enormous breakfast and led to lots of wasted food. We were then quickly taken back to port without even time for showers and we were off the boat by 11am. This does not feel like a third day of the trip and meant an uncomfortable and unexpected 6 hour wait for our flight at the airport. It is because of this that we’re giving 4 instead of 5 stars. It’s an expensive trip and could be perfect if they considered the organisation of this last day - or at least advertised it as it was to allow us to plan our onward travel more easily.
