Excellent trip, great guides, knowledgeable guides. Food was also excellent, but could be less spicy for kids

Very secret intimate space. But the only drawback is that the event can only be carried out under good weather (not rain). Had to reschedule 3 times. And the wood oven can get very Smokey and painful for the eyes. But the host managed to solve it

We enjoyed this trip in general and here is our honest feedback.
Overall, we find that this is a costly trip for such a large group.
The route: We would have liked to explore deeper into other mangroves areas.
The lunch: We were ok with the simple meal of rice noodles, however, they could have been more generous with the 3 ingredients, even if it's just more vegetables. We got, tiny bits of egg, 1/10th of 1 leaf of chye sim and a slither of mushroom. The seasoning was also filled with MSG/artificial flavouring. (for those who are allergic to that, do note)
Sound mindfulness: There were 3 guides and all were friendly enough. It would have been nice if they found a system of gathering everyone without shouting at the top of their lungs in the midst of pristine nature. Just passing the message on from one to another would have worked perfectly for instance. It's very jarring to the ears & soul especially when we are all chilling with the wild silence around us. Being nature lovers, I believe they would want to also preserve the eco system of the area by minimising human noise pollution.
Our guide: Brenda was generous with informative and shared titbits on a wide range of topics along our way. Her simple tips on how to use the oars was also helpful. She also shared her personal experiences in nature. This made the whole experience much more interesting & enriching.
Overall, still a good experience. Nature always energises and uplifts the spirits.
