Bring your friends or teammates and enjoy gathering in the kitchen to prepare a hearty Caribbean meal together. Relax and enjoy dinner in a relaxed atmosphere of a beautifully renovated shophouse with a delightful and wise host. Make it an evening to remember for you and your guests by engaging a sommelier or magician. During this 3-hr food experience you'll learn to cook a gorgeous Caribbean meal with carefully sourced ingredients, under the guidance of Elika, a professional food consultant. After you're done with cooking you get to feast on the 8-course meal! The Caribbean is known for its sunshine, music and all-around good island vibes! If you are familiar with its cuisine, it's a blend of hearty and tropical foods that are grounding yet uplifting. Since the Caribbean and South East Asia share very similar climates, and have a lot of common fruits and vegetables, you will be able to see Singapore's local ingredients in delightful and novel new settings via Elika's Caribbean dishes.Get hands-on & learn to cook 8 yummy dishes:Ital (red kidney bean stew)Pumpkin coconut curry - veganBrown Stew ChickenRice and peasCallaloo (Caribbean spinach)Coconut coleslawPlantainsCaribbean coconut & cassava cakeAfter you're done with cooking, you get to sit with Elika and feast on your amazing 8-course meal!*Your dishes are all free from gluten, dairy and preservatives or artificial flavourings.*This experience is priced at a minimum of 6 guests.
