Make stunning, gallery-worthy pottery in a rooftop studio—even as a beginner!
If you've ever admired the gorgeous ceramics in fine dining spots like The Ritz-Carlton and Shangri-La, here's your chance to make your own. This introductory pottery class teaches you two key techniques—hand-building and wheel-throwing—in a cool rooftop studio. What makes this experience extra special is that the finished pieces are seriously nice, not amateur at all (even if a beginner makes it!). The final pieces are beautifully glazed for you, so they'll look like they came straight out of a high-end ceramics boutique. Perfect for beginners or anyone who wants to craft pottery that’s truly beautiful, this hands-on session is guided by a skilled instructor known for stunning glazing styles. In just two hours, you’ll create pieces that are both functional and gallery-worthy—ideal for those who appreciate art and craftsmanship! What to ExpectLearn two pottery techniques: hand-building (coil, slab, and pinch) and wheel-throwing.Create two unique vessels—one hand-built and one wheel-thrown—to take home.Expert guidance in a small group setting, ensuring a fun and interactive session.Beautiful glazing done for you after the session, so your pieces look professionally made.Enjoy a relaxed outdoor rooftop setting with plenty of space and ventilation.Good to KnowYour finished pottery will be ready for collection in about two months after glazing and firing.Wear light clothing as the studio is outdoors (sheltered with large fans for comfort).Suitable for ages 7 and above. Children under 7 require parental supervision.Long nails may make working with clay tricky, so a trim is recommended.Studio is at Emily Residence, Singapore—be sure not to confuse it with Parc Emily next door!Easily accessible via Little India MRT (5-minute walk) or parking available at the condo.
