This is a 5-hour expedition to the Marsiling Bunkers in Singapore, with a twist! It's adventurous without being daunting, and it's really fun for groups of friends/couples/families! Suitable for all ages from 5-65. Option Highlights✅ Explore abandoned WWII bunkers that few have seen ✅ Mini-challenges along the way so that you can experience the bunkers in a fresh light!✅ Awesome photos to show friends & family What to ExpectExplore the abandoned WWII structures leftover from British rule amidst rambling jungle vines. You'll visit two bunkers as part of this expedition - both of which are hidden in a forest without walking trails. These bunkers used to be where the British (and later the Japanese army) kept their supplies and ammunition, and one of them is HUGE. Our favourite part? This expedition comes with a twist! To bring the tunnels to life and make this more fun, the Beyond Expedition team love to come up with mini-challenges. We won't reveal them here as these challenges are what we loved most about the expedition - but just a head's up that you'll need to be prepared to get muddy! They aren't daunting though (plus are optional!), and will be suitable for anyone from 5 to 65 years. As with any good expedition, this experience ends with a tea & cookies session where you can chill out, and swap stories! The Beyond Expedition team will also act as your personal photographers as well with their DSLR so that you have keepsakes of the trip. We don't want to spoil too much, but expect to see a side of Singapore you've never seen before! Who can JoinThis experience is suitable for all ages, from as young as 5 to as old as 65! As long as you’re up for some unconventional fun and aren't afraid of getting dirty, this trip is definitely one to go for! Wet-Weather This activity happens rain or shine, do bring along a poncho in case of wet weather!

5H Expedition to Singapore's Hidden WW2 Bunkers (Age 5+)
Super unique experience in Singapore! We could have visited the bunkers ourselves (well, if we managed to find them!), but we were super glad we did it with Beyond Expeditions as the way they did it made it 10X more interesting.
I’ve lived in Singapore pretty much my whole life and never knew these bunkers existed! They were much larger than I thought they would be and getting to see them really brought back the awe of travelling.
Our favourite part of the experience was all the side challenges that our guide Scott came up with! We went in a group of 4 as a surprise birthday treat for a friend. And the side challenges were a super fun way of bringing the tunnels for life for us, and getting us to experience them in a way that we wouldn’t otherwise have. We also got much muddier than the other guy in our group who didn’t opt to do the challenges, but that’s part of the fun!
Scott was also a great guide - super engaging and involving each person in the group. Along the way Scott also told us little fun facts about the bunkers. Not too much that makes it feel like a history lesson, but enough fun facts and stories that really brought the tunnels to life for us.
I also really enjoyed the tea session at the end, which was the perfect end to the expedition!

We had an amazing time and would certainly recommend to anyone who wants to do something new and quite different to what else you can do in Singapore. Our guide for the day was excellent and a ball of energy!! Just be prepared to get muddy :)

Essential Wilderness Survival
Never thought a wilderness survival experience would be something we would do in Singapore, but Scott from Beyond Expedition once again manages to blow our expectations away! Our modern lives felt miles away and we felt like we were in Malaysia (but actually in Pulau Ubin), learning all these handy survival skills.
Scott is an expert with all his knowledge and tools and taught us how to start a fire using dried leaves, twigs, coconut husks. He also taught us the proper technique to saw and spilt wood (yes like Captain America and Iron Man in Avengers :P) so that was pretty epic!! We also hand made our own wooden chopsticks (taught by Frederick, an amazing woodworking instructor). It was surprisingly therapeutic.
Would recommend this experience for anyone who wants to disconnect from their hectic lives and reconnect with our natural environment. It was a perfect day out and I think it’s safe to say that I can probably survive in the wilderness for a few days (with the right tools!) Thanks Scott :D

5H Expedition to Singapore's Hidden WW2 Bunkers (Age 5+)
I never knew Singapore had such things like underground WWII bunkers and it was super duper cool to be able to explore them with Scott from Beyond Expeditions! We strapped on our head lamps, duck crawled through tunnels and stepped in a whole lotta mud.
Scott was an amazing guide and facilitator and he made the experience so much more fun and exciting with all his side challenges, humourous and very easy going personality.
Side note: All the challenges are optional, so if you’re not great in tight spaces, you don’t have to do them :) Just let Scott know what you’re comfortable with! This activity is also super fun with friends!
Be prepared to get dirty :P 10/10 recommend for anyone wanting to explore and so something super different in Singapore

Definitely the most fun I’ve had in Singapore for a while! I’ve never heard of Marsiling bunkers prior to this and it was better than I imagined - it was such a unique experience trekking through the rainforest off-trail and wading through the shin-deep mud in the bunkers. Major props to Scott and Catherine for making the trip extra fun with surprise challenges and games! The warm cup of Masala Chai was the perfect end to an already awesome day :)

What should I pack?
A set of clean clothes, towel and a pair of slippers or clean shoes (to freshen up after the activity)
Drinking water bottle
Gloves (optional)
Hat/cap and buff (to prevent spiders and geckos from landing on you and crawling down your body)

Water booties (highly recommended) or high-cut waterproof trekking boots you don’t mind getting drenched in mud
Pre-Requisites for The Trip
The trek is suitable for participants of all ages, but it’s not for the faint-hearted due to the dark confined space, the mud, and creepy crawlies.
