Highly recommended climb. I come from taiwan Mt Kinabalu is beautiful and Via Ferrata is interesting. Everything is unforgettable, no matter the climbing and the person I contacted.

Highly recommended. Trekking at Mt Kinabalu was very hard but memorable to me. Everything is unforgettable, no matter the climbing and the person I contacted. Very impressive is the service provided by Olivia. Her prompt response, efficiency, professional service and the detailed information she provided made everything go smoothly. It was the first time I had no worry about the tour. I would also like to share how efficiency is Olivia and her team was - Olivia returned the trekking pole to me within an hour after I have found that it was left in the driver's car. Super !

An amazing experience. Everything was well organized and for a reasonable price (compared to some other deals). The hike was actually much more than just a walk into a forest haha. I could feel my legs and knees for a few days after the hike! The room where we spent the night was new but really cold with no hot shower available, so it's better to bring some warm and dry clothes for the night and the 2nd day (we arrived there complely wet after 1h of hike under the rain). Our guide Silverstone was really nice and the agent, Olivia, took the time to pass by my hostel to brief me with all the details. The meals and transport were included which is nice, although we were a bit sceptical concerning our safety on the road as our driver was a bit crazy and took lots of unnecessary risks to arrive faster in KK on the way back. But overall a great experience. Thank you!

Towel (optional - in case you would like to shower at Base Camp - the showers at Base Camp can get chilly though!)

Will I definitely get to summit Mt Kinabalu?

It'll depend on your fitness level and the weather. On the morning of the summit, you'll need to get to the summit checkpoint by 5pm in order to be cleared by the local rangers for summit. If you do not arrive in time (due to fitness level or other reasons), you will not be allowed to proceed to summit. In addition, there are a handful of days each year where the summit climb is cancelled by Mt Kinabalu Park due to dangerous weather conditions. Cancellations happen if there is torrential rain and it's deemed dangerous for climbers to make the slippery summit climb. Cancellations are rare, and no refund will be issued by Mt Kinabalu Park for any cancellations.
