One Thousand Hills is one of the newest guesthouses in Ketambe and one with the most comfortable accommodation. Joseph, the owner, is meticulous about maintaining his property as well as taking care of his guests. His staff are also wonderful cooks!
About One Thousand Hills
Thousandhills offers a total of 7 rooms, each equipped with an en-suite bathroom and a private balcony. The property is surrounded by a beautiful tropical garden, with a river in the front and stunning views of the forest and jungle in the background. From the balcony, guests can easily observe Thomas leaf monkeys and various bird species. The forest behind the bungalows presents an exciting opportunity for adventurous exploration, and there have been instances where orangutans have built nests in this area. Thousand Hills provide and arrange safari Leuser tour packages, as well as a wide range of trips suitable for families, budget travelers, and groups. Our tours are led by licensed, local guides who are fluent in English and possess extensive knowledge of the national park, as well as the flora and fauna that inhabit it.
