Shamini, 04 Jan 2025
Hello! Thank you for reaching out with your questions, and no worries at all — I’m happy to help! 😊 Here’s some information for you: 1. **Is this trek suitable for any fitness level?** Yes, this trek is designed to be suitable for a range of fitness levels. However, it's best to have a moderate level of fitness, as there are some uphill and downhill sections. Your guide will pace the trek according to the group’s fitness level, and if anyone needs a break, the guide will ensure there are plenty of opportunities to rest. 2. **Are there breaks in between the trek?** Absolutely! There are breaks along the way, especially in scenic spots where you can rest and take in the views. You’ll also stop at local villages, giving you the chance to stretch and enjoy the surroundings. 3. **How cold would it be in Sapa in February?** February in Sapa can be quite chilly, with temperatures typically ranging between 10°C (50°F) and 15°C (59°F), and it could get colder, especially in the early mornings and evenings. It’s advisable to bring layers, including a warm jacket, as it can be windy and cooler at higher altitudes. 4. **Are vegetarian food options available for lunch?** Yes! Vegetarian options are available. You can let the host know about dietary preferences when you book or directly on the day of the trek, and they’ll be happy to accommodate. 5. **For teens who rarely hike, would this trek be suitable for them?** This trek should be manageable for teens who don’t hike often, as it’s not too difficult. However, they may find it challenging at times due to the uneven terrain. If needed, your guide will ensure they take breaks to rest. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes for the trek and being prepared for some physical activity. I hope this answers your questions! Feel free to let me know if there’s anything else you’d like to know or if you need help with booking the trek. Best regards, Rina
How long is the walk back to Sapa town after the last village ?
Agnes Eu, 05 Oct 2024
Hi Agnes, you'll be back in Sapa around 3:00pm at the end of the experience :)
Could we purchase the main tour now, and just decide on the add-on (Red Dao Bath) later on? If so, by when should we advise if we're availing of the bath? Thank you.
CB, 03 Oct 2024
Hello! Yes, you can book the main tour first and add the optional extras later.
Can we still do the Red Dao bath if we have our menstrual period?
Rica, 04 Sep 2024
It’s generally advised to avoid traditional baths or hot springs during menstruation due to hygiene and comfort concerns.
