Wan and Decho, a local couple from Khao Sok, started Praiwan Rafthouse in 2009 with a simple dream: to share the stunning beauty of Cheow Lan Lake while protecting its natural surroundings. What began as a family effort has grown into a welcoming retreat, now run with the help of younger relatives who grew up by the lake. The rafthouse blends seamlessly into the landscape, built with natural materials and a commitment to sustainability. Guests can expect clean, comfortable rooms, delicious home-cooked meals, and a deep respect for nature. Wan and the team take care to minimize waste, support local jobs, and ensure wildlife thrives undisturbed. Staying here feels like being part of their family and their love for Khao Sok.
