- Since we go with a small group, the boat is smaller and can go to places that big boat cannot

The mountain passes are impressive, perhaps even more so than around Dong Van. In some areas you can see many rice terraces that turn golden yellow during the rice season. Along the way you will find a ruin of a French watchtower from the colonial era. Expect to give a lot of high fives to the kids along the way who greet you kindly. Continue, we will drive to Tham Luong waterfall. Arrive at the clearest water stream and have a refreshing swim there together with cold beers and snacks. Lunch time there14:00: The tour concludes. You'll arrive in Ha Giang around 17:00. You can then take either the 18:00: sleeper bus or the 21:00 VIP cabin bus/sleeper bus, with options to continue your journey to Sapa, Ninh Binh, Ha Long, or Hai Phong.
