Private 3-hour guided wetland exploration at Sungei Buloh with Nature Adventures SG helps you appreciate Singapore's unique ecosystem.
This is a private 3-hour guided exploration of Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve. Perfect for families looking to learn more about Singapore's unique mangrove ecosystem. Details Your friendly nature-junkie guide will show you around the large network of mangroves and mudflats. Cultivate a deeper appreciation for science and nature as your children learn about Singapore's wildlife, from migratory birds to the hardy mangroves.Located along Singapore’s northwestern coastline, Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve serves as an excellent place for all sorts of migratory birds to rest and refuel as they head south to escape the bitter cold every winter. Learn more about this incredible and arduous journey, and how technology and international collaboration are finding ways to protect this great migration. Even outside of the migratory bird season, Sungei Buloh is home to an astounding array of resident species, from herons and eagles to kingfishers and sunbirds.Other than birds, here you can also easily encounter and safely admire reptiles like the Malayan water monitor, shore pit viper, and the top predator of the wetlands – the estuarine crocodile.Find out how mangroves manage to thrive between the tides, an environment inhospitable to other trees, and how humans benefit from healthy mangrove forests. Marvel at the many smaller creatures that call the wetlands home, from cicadas and crabs to molluscs and mudskippers. And don't forget to relax! Take in the rustling of leaves and earthy scents, a soothing escape from the bustle of city life.

We are interested in a tour tomorrow - November 20. Is there any chance 2 people could join the 9:00AM tour?
Aaron Kowalski, 19 Nov 2024
Hello Aaron!
Unfortunetely, the host is not available for tomorrow
Other than verbal introductions, will we have a chance to touch and feel some of the wildlifes?
Tess, 29 Aug 2021
Hi Tess,
We would not suggest touching the wild animals as it will endanger you and the animal itself.
The guide will give a safety briefing before the tour start :)
