Meet your host
Meet Vivian and Jivan, the duo behind Singapore’s first taxidermy workshops. Their work isn’t just about creating beautiful displays—it’s about honouring animals and sparking conversations about conservation in an unconventional way.
Vivian grew up in Ipoh, surrounded by animals, which led her to study zoology and work in conservation with WWF. There, she learned how preserving animals could be a way to study and appreciate them. Combining science with creativity, she now teaches others how to respectfully preserve specimens, from delicate butterflies to small mammals.
All specimens are responsibly sourced—from butterfly farms, wildlife centres, and even public donations—ensuring that every piece created is an ethical tribute to nature’s beauty.
