Savor artisan spirits, uncover their stories, and enjoy a guided tasting.
This cosy spirit tasting session isn’t your typical night out. Tucked away in a quiet, thoughtfully designed space in Singapore, this experience is for those who want to go deeper into the world of artisan spirits. If you've ever felt limited by the mass-market options found in your average bar or bottle shop, this is a refreshing—and very tasty—change.Helmed by Jason, a seasoned spirits enthusiast with a background spanning London and Seoul, this session brings an intentional, almost artistic approach to drinking. You won’t just sip—Jason will guide you through a carefully curated journey of six unique spirits, from the familiar to the obscure. It’s all about drinking better, not more, and understanding the stories, history, and craft behind what’s in your glass. This is perfect for curious drinkers, spirit nerds, and anyone who wants to refine their palate away from the usual gin-and-tonic circuit. Especially great if you're into small, intimate experiences where you can connect, ask questions, and truly savour each pour. What to ExpectA guided tasting of 6x25ml pours of lesser-known artisan spirits – think white rum, mezcal, cognac, aged rum, bourbon, and independent bottler Scotch whisky.Insight into the world of spirits: what sets them apart, their craft roots, and why people are now drinking for flavour and experience over function.Tips on how to nose and taste craft spirits the right way – elevate your drinking game through a pro’s lens.Laid-back vibes in a beautiful, intimate space with jazz music and textures galore (think dark academia meets cosy speak-easy).Light snacks, nosing glasses, tasting notes, and chilled water to keep your palate sharp.Good to KnowThis is focused on the sensory experience – it’s best to eat a proper meal before coming instead of relying on snacks provided. No screens, no slides, no pressure – just good spirits and even better conversation.Great fit for small groups or solo travellers looking for a more meaningful way to appreciate spirits.Duration is around 1.5 hours – the perfect little escape into the world of craft booze.

Meet your host
Jason Oh started Old Moon Spirits in 2024 with a clear goal—helping people appreciate quality spirits in a more meaningful way. Having lived in both London and Seoul, he brings a broad perspective to Singapore’s growing spirits scene. For Jason, it’s not just about drinking; it’s about building a thoughtful and artistic spirits culture. He sees Singapore as a place full of potential, much like how Paris once was for art. Beyond crafting fine spirits, Jason also hopes to give back by supporting those struggling with alcohol addiction and contributing to the local arts scene. His vision is both ambitious and heartfelt, making Old Moon Spirits more than just a brand—it's a movement for better drinking and deeper connections.
