This option is perfect for travellers who are a bit shorter on time but would still like to see Mt Fansipan. This includes a trek up Mt. Fansipan on foot, and descent by cable car while you enjoy the phenomenal mountain views from above. This option includes a private trekking guide and one-way cable car ticket. Note on Health and Safety: Although Mt Fansipan may not seem like a very tough climb, because of the fast ascent it does require climbers to be in pretty good physical condition (ex.: ability to walk at a fast pace for at least a few hour at a time). Please carefully evaluate your health and physical fitness before starting the trip. Once you have started the ascent, please make sure you follow the advice of your guide, especially if they recommend that you turn around due to slow pace or lack of time. Please also keep in mind that the last cable car leaves at 5PM and after 4:30PM it's not possible to go down by foot as there will not be enough day light to make it all the way down. There are no facilities to overnight at the top. We want to make sure you have a great time and that you and our guides stay safe!

Meet your host
Zizi and Lilly started their homestay in 2016, creating a welcoming place for travellers while also supporting their local community. Zizi’s family once relied on rice farming, but tourism helped improve their lives, allowing them to upgrade from bamboo to wooden houses. Their journey hasn’t been easy—during COVID, they lost both their business and home to a fire. But through determination and the support of visitors, they rebuilt step by step. Today, their homestay is one of the most loved in Sapa. They hire local guides and run their place as a social enterprise, giving others in the community a chance at a better life.
