Summit Fansipan in 1 day with local expert guide!
This one-day trek up Fansipan, Indochina's highest peak, is truly a choose-your-own-adventure with your local, experienced guide setting the pace just for you. Because it's a private trip you can do it at your own pace. You can also opt to climb down, or treat yourself to a relaxing cable car glide back down! What to expect:Leave while the birds are still sleeping: An early start (like 5:30am!) means fewer crowds and cooler temperatures as you set off.A vertical world: Think dense forest, clambering over boulders, and conquering ladders as you make your way up to the peak.Lunch with a view: Refuel amidst spectacular mountain scenery. The sweet reward: Conquer the 3,143-meter summit with its panoramic views (if it's not foggy!).Important tips:This trek is tough! You'll need a high level of fitness to conquer Fansipan in a single day

Hi. We are planning a trip to sapa on 9 Oct. Can you advise is it safe to travel to sapa now? Can climb fansipan? How is d weather?
Hwa fern, 28 Sep 2024
Hi Hwa Fern! Yes, it’s safe to travel to Sapa right now. The weather is generally mild, but it’s always a good idea to check the forecast closer to your trip.
Hello, I think my question was not answered. I don’t mind paying more. However would the guide be able to customise the trip so that we can either see the sunrise or sunset. We will take the cable car down at our own cost. We just want to catch either the sunrise or sunset at the peak of Fansipan.
Hui Ning, 18 Aug 2024
Hi Hui Ning, to catch the sunrise, we recommend the 2D1N trek. You’ll camp overnight at the base camp on the first day and start the final ascent at 4 am on second day to reach the peak in time for sunrise.
Hello. I want to hike up, catch the sunset at the peak and take the cable car down. Are there any ways we can have this arranged?
Hui Ning, 17 Aug 2024
Hi Hui Ning, thanks for your question! Unfortunately, the cable car operates from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, so catching the sunset at the peak won’t be possible as the cable car will be closed by then. Also, nighttime trekking isn't allowed due to safety concerns.
To catch the sunrise, we recommend the 2D1N trek. You will do overnight camping at the base camp on day one, and start the final ascent at 4am on day two to reach the summit in time for sunrise. :)
Are we able to opt for an earlier summit so that we can catch the sunrise?
J, 12 Mar 2024
Hi J,
Yes, that's possible. Just make sure to mention it in the note when you make the booking.
