Hello Badi, the distance from the airport to Sepilok is around 40 mins depending on traffic. However, feeding time starts around 10am, and you'll be at sepilok up till approximately 11am. You might still make it in time to visit and see the orang utans. :)
Hello, We also wanted to know informations about the weather. If it rains a lot, does the tour is cancelled ? And do you think the weather will be okay in the 11 or the 12 of February ? Hello Alison, here is the Weather Policy for your reference. In the event of rain, the activity may be canceled. If the boat excursion/ sepilok orang utan tou/ bornean sun bear tour proceeds as scheduled, guests have the discretion to participate, but refunds will not be provided. However, If the management decides to cancel, a refund will be issued. Hope this helps :)
Hello, We are two and we wanten to knie if it is possible to book this day trip in Sandakan for the 12 of february. Does the weather will be favorable you think ? We arrive with the flight at 9am and leave at 9 pm Do you thing we can organise something ?

Hi Badi, if you arrive at Sandakan Airport around 9:00 am, don't worry about missing anything significant, as the main activities kick off at 10:00 am with feeding time at Sepilok. You'll likely spend about an hour there, followed by a visit to the Borneo Sun Bear, and then lunch at 12:30 pm. Post-lunch, we'll head directly to Kinabatangan for an evening river cruise. The journey from Sandakan Town/Airport to Sepilok typically takes less than 40 minutes, depending on traffic, so you should have ample time to join us.
