Get ready to be awed by Rinjani's newest and most hidden trail.
Embark on an unforgettable journey through Rinjani's newest and most pristine path – the Torean route. Forged by the forces of a 2018 earthquake, this trail winds through landscapes untouched by mass tourism, revealing views that transport you to a prehistoric world. The Torean route promises solitude and a unique connection with nature, unlike any other on the volcano. This is a 3D3N experience, which includes a night at a lovely guesthouse before the climb, and a 3D2N climb to the summit of Mount Rinjani via the Torean route. What to Expect:Day 1: Arrival and Preparation:Touch down at Lombok International Airport and enjoy a scenic transfer to Senaru.Settle into your comfortable accommodation at a comfortable Guest House.Attend a comprehensive briefing to prepare for the trek ahead.Day 2: Senaru to Sembalun Crater Rim:Begin your ascent from Senaru, traversing through lush forests and along ridges.Make stops at designated points to rest, refuel, and soak in the panoramic vistas.Reach Sembalun Crater Rim, your campsite for the night, and witness a breathtaking sunset over the volcanic landscape.Day 3: Segara Anak Lake to Torean Village:Descend to the mesmerizing Segara Anak Lake, nestled within the volcano's caldera.Hike through captivating scenery, encountering cascading waterfalls and diverse flora.Arrive at Torean Village, marking the end of your trek, and transfer back to the comforts of the Guest House.Upgrade to 4D3N for a More Relaxed Pace:Enhance your experience with an optional extra day (available as an add-on).This extended itinerary allows for a leisurely trek to the Rinjani Summit on the third day. After conquering the peak, descend to Segara Anak Lake for a rejuvenating dip in its hot springs. You'll camp by the lake overnight, savoring another delicious dinner under the stars. The fourth day is then dedicated to the scenic trek from Segara Anak Lake to Torean Village. We'd recommend doing 4D3N to give yourself more time to enjoy the unique route.Tips for an Unforgettable Journey:Embrace the Challenge: The Torean route demands more effort than the standard Rinjani summit trek, but the rewards are unparalleled. If you prefer a gentler pace, consider adding the extra day for a more manageable climb.Pack Light: Porters will handle your camping gear, allowing you to focus on the trail.Capture the Magic: Bring your camera or drone to immortalize the awe-inspiring landscapes. Why Torean is Unique:Post-Earthquake Landscape: The Torean route was shaped by the 2018 earthquake, making it a captivating testament to nature's resilience.Uncrowded Trails: Experience the tranquility of less-traveled paths, far from the usual tourist crowds.Rare Vistas: Discover hidden waterfalls, volcanic formations, and panoramic views that few have witnessed.

Rudy first started as a porter on Mount Rinjani, and saw how his beloved mountain was polluted by trash. Eventually, he saved enough to start his own guiding company. Determined to make a difference, he trained his guides in responsible practices to address the mountain's pollution. His team not only cleans up their own waste but also that of other groups, setting a positive example. Rudy's skilled guides went on to establish their own responsible companies, creating a network of eco-conscious businesses in Rinjani. By choosing Rudy's team, you're not just getting an amazing climb, you're directly supporting a cleaner Rinjani and a more responsible tourism industry.
