Meet your host
Fazri and his team create unforgettable Komodo adventures on some of the island's most luxurious phinisi boats. They're passionate about amazing experiences – they listen, they refine, and every trip just gets better.
Bayu (the guy we met during Komodo press trip in Oct 2024, think he's the manager for operations side of things) is a content creator himself and freediver. From Kalimantan originally and havent been home in over 20 years. Finally going back next year to see his sick dad (I THINK, need to confirm). Hes done really alot of types of photography including sexy shoots! Now mostly his freedive content. By right shouldnt free-dive alone, but he's super YOLO and does it himself sometimes. He can hold breath for abt 5-6 min? He also believes in some kind of spirit which hes currently tied to. like he couldnt eeat satay sticks bcs it would break his 'protection/curse' - can ask risma to expound more on this. Honestly super duper cool guy. (I may have had some context wrong bcs we were conversing mainly in bahasa and i may have misinterpreted here n there)

I wanted to ask if it would be possible to scuba dive instead of snorkeling at the points specified on our itinerary. My partner and I are certified divers (Open Water and Advanced) and were wondering if someone from the crew or an affiliated guide knowledgeable about the underwater areas could assist us with this.
Pablo Garcia, 08 Dec 2024
Hi!
No, this trip is specifically for snorkeling activities. If you're interested in diving, it will be at a different location. You can check out the diving options in Labuan Bajo here: Diving in Labuan Bajo & Komodo.

Hello, Do you offer Vegan catering on your boat?
Jeremy Eggar, 20 Nov 2024
Hi Jeremy,
Yes, we can provide vegan food please indicate this request in your booking note.
Hi, we are considering travelling with you in May 2025 and we want to bring our 10 year old son. Is it ok for us to book one room, and he'll sleep with my husband and I?
Sonja, 04 Nov 2024
Hi Sonja, thanks for reaching out! A 10-year-old will be considered as a regular headcount, and unfortunately, we don't have rooms that can accommodate three people on this boat. However, I recommend looking into the Yudhistira Room on another boat—it would be perfect for your family and has the space you need! https://www.seeksophie.com/experiences/labuan-bajo-komodo-3d2n-komodo-island-boat-trip-with-luxurious-sailing-ship-o97jdq29zg
