Please take note that this room is not included the breakfast. The room type depends on the availability of the room (You may not get a Tree Top Chalet).Spend a weekend in a chalet among Malaysia's tropical rainforest at Gibbon Retreat Bentong, just an hour's drive from KL City. Each chalet has its own private balcony (overlooking the trees), a steamboat pot, portable stove, BBQ wok (for light BBQ if guests bring their own charcoal). Once you're settled in, explore the canopy bridge, take a dip in the cooling rock pool, or picnic and barbecue. You'd also get to trek on 3 different hiking routes around Gibbon Retreat! At the end of the getaway, you will feel refreshed, rejuvenated, and reconnected with nature.**The retreat is suitable for children aged 6 and above but due to the steep and uneven terrain, we would advise you to exercise caution and to supervise your children at all times. Maximum 2 pets are allowed per chalet. Pets are not allowed in the swimming pool and on the beds. Pets are required to be under supervision at all times and not to be left unattended in the shed.

Meet your host

The idea for Gibbon Retreat began when H.P Lem, Silicon Valley engineer and nature lover, was hiking in the forest. He came to the realization that whilst there, immersed in nature his stresses and strains would evaporate. He decided to build a series of low impact dwellings to share the benefits with others. The result is Gibbon Retreat. A place to reconnect with nature and recharge both physically and mentally. Sustainability comes first, simplicity is encouraged and life is just a little bit slower in Gibbon Retreat Bentong.
