This is a 2 night stay at the Sticks KKB, a gorgeous eco-glamping haven deep in the forest, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The Sticks is a full board retreat (all meals included!), with the warmest and friendliest hosts - so once you get here, all you got to do is kick back, relax, and enjoy your time with each other.
Totally off-grid (no wifi!) and hidden away in the rainforest, the last leg of your journey will require you to cross a suspension bridge in the jungle or take a 4WD to get here.
During this 2 night eco-glamping getaway, you’ll get to trek in the forest, laze in the rivers, or play board games in your hut. You’ll also be served with delicious home-cooked meals (we heard their banana fritters are the best)! It really is the perfect place to disconnect, unwind, and get in touch with nature again.
P.S. our favourite part is sleeping to the sound of the flowing river and feeling the cool breeze at night!

Meet your host
The Sticks is built by a retired civil engineer with sustainability in mind. The kampung-inspired retreat is perfect for the environmentally-conscious - it was constructed with minimal clearing of the forest, powered by solar energy, and even the water comes from a remote spring. Currently, The Sticks is run by the engineer's wife alongside a number of locals who are all passionate and friendly. The unique Tedoks (a crossover between a tent and a Pondok), situated 300m above sea level, are tastefully furnished and airy - making this off-grid retreat perfect for friends and families looking for a getaway, or even yoga retreats. Trekking activities of varying difficulty levels are also available for adventurous guests.
