This is a stay in Templer Park Rainforest Retreat Container, a private villa with 5 ensuite bedrooms, perfect for large groups from 10 - 30 pax. Perched on a hilltop of a sprawling 3 acres worth of land, Templer Park Rainforest Retreat is a unique stay that opens up to a 360° view of the Kanching Rainforest Reserve.
Here, you can enjoy the facilities of a fully equipped semi open-air kitchen, swimming pools, sauna, Jacuzzi, and a large indoor A/C living hall. These amenities, coupled with unique outdoor experience and communal living help guests to bond and foster relationships, making this place ideal for team retreats. The hosts will be able to set up BBQ facilities, just bring your own ingredients!

If you would like to spend some quality time in nature, you can go hiking at Kanching Waterfall or visit Selayang Hot Spring. For the golf lovers, Templer Park Country Club is only 5 min drive from the retreat (at an additional cost). Your 'neighbors' include cheeky monkeys, monitor lizards, squirrels, tropical colorful birds, wild fowl, large butterflies, dragonflies, bats, fireflies. They may occasionally visit during your stay at the retreat.

Meet your host
It is unlikely that 18 years ago, Saw Kim Hock would have envisaged that this humble little homestead would welcome guests from around the world. Yet with the advent of the sharing economy and a lot of hard work, what began as a simple homestead for his family and friends has transformed into Templer Park Rainforest Retreat, a rural escape in Rawang that is just 20km north of Kuala Lumpur. The retreat also harvests solar power for its water heaters, and there are plans to reuse rainwater and compost fallen leaves.
