Your epic jungle adventure awaits!What to ExpectThe cottages come equipped with hot showers, powerful fans, and mosquito nets, ensuring comfort while maintaining a focus on sustainability.Cottages offers an eco-friendly stay with no TVs, promoting relaxation and connection with nature, while good airflow in the cottages enhances comfort and reduces the need for air conditioning. This design approach allows guests to enjoy the natural surroundings fully​.The property is surrounded by exotic gardens filled with tropical flora, offering beautiful views and opportunities for nature observation without leaving the resort.Choice of River Adventure: Depending on the season, you can explore the Sok River with a peaceful canoe ride or enjoy the thrill of tubing through the current during the rainy season. Both activities are available from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM. Tubing is only available from July to December due to the higher water levels in the river.Cheow Lan Lake Exploration: This scenic boat ride through beautiful limestone cliffs is a visual treat. It's one of Thailand’s natural wonders that you’ll remember for a lifetime.You will be accompanied by a local long-tail boat driver who speaks very limited English. He will be able to help you locate wildlife, however he may not be able to share a lot of in depth information.Kayaking or Jungle Hiking at Chew Lan Lake: Whether you want to explore the lake by paddling through its crystal-clear waters or trek hidden trails deep into the jungle, these activities give you the freedom to tailor your adventure.Floating Rafthouse Stay: Spending a night on a floating bamboo bungalow is a one-of-a-kind experience. The rustic yet serene atmosphere, surrounded by the emerald waters and lush jungle, brings you closer to nature.Morning Mist Safari: Gliding across Cheow Lan Lake in the early morning mist is a magical experience. Keep an eye out for wildlife like hornbills and gibbons as they emerge with the dawn.Khao Sok's weather can be unpredictable, so be prepared for sudden rain showers, especially during the wet season. Bring a lightweight rain jacket and embrace the changes, as they can add a refreshing element to your adventure!Important NotesThe entrance fees for Khao Sok National Park (both the Headquarters zone and Cheow Lan Lake zone), the pier at Cheow Lan Lake, and the wildlife sanctuary are not included in the package and must be paid separately. These fees typically range from 300 to 540 THB per person, payable in cash, but are subject to change based on the park's policies. Please ensure you bring enough cash to cover these fees.Resort do not accept credit cards. There is an ATM in the nearby town if you need to withdraw cash.Group Activity Policy: Activities must be selected as a group; individual members cannot choose different options for the same time slot.The floating raft house on day 2 is simple and rustic, so it may not offer all the modern comforts, but it provides an authentic nature experience. - Please be aware that the bamboo raft house at Cheow Lan Lake offers a rustic experience. Accommodations are basic, with no fans or air conditioning. You’ll find a mattress on the floor, along with a simple pillow and blanket. Shared bathrooms are available for guests. Towels, shampoo, and soap are not provided, so please bring your own. Electricity is provided from 5 PM to 5 AM only, and please note that there is no mobile phone signal (please see photos at the top of the listing for reference)Please note that if you are travelling with a suit case or a large backpack, you may not be able to bring it to the raft house due to limited space on the boat. Your options are as follows:If you are coming back to Khao Sok, you can store with your host in Khao Sok and retrieve when you come backIf you are traveling to another destination, your host can arrange your transfer and have the driver bring your bag to you Once you arrive at the floating rafthouse, you’ll be off the grid! There is no mobile signal, so it’s the perfect chance to truly disconnect and immerse yourself in nature.The rafthouse operates on limited electricity. During the daytime, there will be no power, but it’s available in the evenings from 5 PM - 5 AM for basic lighting and charging devices. Tips for a Great ExperincePack Light but Smart: Bring essentials like insect repellent, sunscreen, a hat for sun protection, comfortable hiking shoes that can get wet, and quick-dry clothing for water activities. Don’t forget your swimwear for the lake, a jacket for cooler nights on the water, and a small towel. Additionally, please bring your own soap and shampoo.Opt as add on for the Night Safari at Khao Sok National Park Headquarter zone on day 1 : If you’re into wildlife, the night safari is a thrilling way to explore Khao Sok’s nocturnal ecosystem.Get Active: Take advantage of the adventure options like kayaking, jungle hiking, and swimming. These activities give you a chance to explore the area in different ways and connect with nature.Stay Hydrated: The jungle can be humid, so carry a reusable water bottle and stay hydrated throughout your adventure.Bring Waterproof Gear: Whether you're canoeing, tubing, or simply floating on the lake, having a waterproof bag for your phone, camera, and other valuables is a must.Cancellations & No Shows PoliciesIf you cancel 8 to 14 days before your arrival, you will be charged 50% of your total booking cost.If you cancel within 7 days of your arrival or do not show up, you will be charged 100% of your total booking cost.
