Craft a vibrantly unique mosaic in a historic Vietnam pottery haven!
Mosaic Workshop in Hanoi is a unique experience that allows you to learn the art of mosaic while immersing yourself in the rich history of Bat Trang Pottery Village. This 600-year-old handicraft village is a symbol of the Northern Vietnam pottery scene and provides the perfect backdrop for your creative journey. This workshop is perfect for art enthusiasts, individuals interested in learning new crafts, and anyone seeking a hands-on experience in a traditional Vietnamese village. It offers a unique opportunity to explore the world of mosaics and create meaningful art pieces.Mosaic in Vietnam:Mosaic art was introduced to Vietnam during the French colonial era. However, the oldest mosaic was found in the Imperial City of Hue and was constructed around 1805. When you visit Hue, you will find the most famous "old" mosaic in Vietnam in the tomb of Emperor Khai Dinh (reigned 1916-1925). The mosaics stretch from floor to ceiling on every wall and the tomb dais. In Hanoi, a mosaic mural runs along various streets like Tran Quang Khai, An Duong, and Yen Phu. This mural was created over 3 years since 2006 to commemorate 1,000 years of Hanoi's history. Many of the mosaic sections celebrate local crafts and important moments in Hanoi's past. Mosaics in the northernmost end tend to reflect a more international outlook on the world. This section contains the contributions of many foreigners. One such area is made to replicate Van Gogh's painting style. Along this traffic-filled corridor, human figures, plants, and animals of many varieties are to be found, as are architectural forms of many types. What to ExpectIntroduction to mosaic art and a visit to the showroomStep-by-step guidance from a mosaic artistCreate your own design on a frame

Quang Minh Mosaic Garden Cafe & Workshop was founded by a group of young people passionate about Mosaic Art Form. It all started when the team realized that not many people their age knew about Mosaic and its process. The team then created the Mosaic Workshop to encourage younger generations to learn and practice this spectacular art. While most workshops in Bat Trang Village teach pottery, QMW wants to show more people the beauty of mosaics and how creating a mosaic art piece can be practical yet exciting.
When you visit Hanoi, you will notice a Ceramic Mosaic Mural Road along the walls of the Red River dike system. It's about 1.7m tall and 3.8m long, holding the record for the world's largest ceramic mosaic in the Guinness Book of World Records. This ceramic work runs along an array of streets, such as An Duong, Yen Phu, Tran Quang Khai, Tran Nhat Duat, and Tran Khanh Du. The vibrant Hanoi Mosaic Wall was made by 20 local artists, 15 international artists from 10 countries, such as France, Italy, USA, and Spain, over 100 artisans from some traditional pottery villages, and 500 Vietnamese and international children. Quang Minh Workshop is one of the ceramic suppliers for this project. The mural road reflects Vietnamese culture and history - making it one of the proudest accomplishments of the city.
