This 2D1N trek takes you deep into Vietnam’s Central Highlands, along the ancient “food path” once used by the K’Ho people to trade rice and farm goods with communities in Da Lat. Long before roads were built, this was the only way to reach the city – a tough, winding trail through mountains and dense forest. Locals would carry sacks of grain on their backs, braving steep climbs and thick jungle, to exchange for salt, oil, and other essentials. You won’t just hear these stories – you’ll walk the same path, led by K’Ho guides whose ancestors made the journey generations ago.Unlike other treks around Da Lat that follow popular or paved routes, this one stays true to its raw roots. The trail weaves through quiet pine forests, tropical rainforest, mist-covered hills, and wild grasslands – with barely a soul in sight. The total trekking length is about 17–18km with a 600m elevation gain. Expect to be on your feet for 6–8 hours a day, with a mix of short breaks and one longer rest stop for lunch. It's challenging, but doable for anyone with hiking experience and a reasonable fitness level.
