You'll not only get to experience Doi Suthep away from the crowds, you'll see local Thai village life in a raw and meaningful way. This is a intermediate day hike around 22km long, which can be completed in 7-10 hours.About your guideAs a ultramarathoner trail runner, Kui knows the paths around Doi Suthep like the back of his hand, and has frequented these trails along with his running mates and have a lasting relationship with the locals. Kui is a personable guide and tailor the journey to cater to his guests. As a proud and upstanding guide in Chiang Mai, his wealth of experience and knowledge will surely entertain and make every seemingly impossible trail easy and rewarding. What to ExpectDuring the stop at Hmong Village, guests will be able to sample a bean-to-cup coffee experience. Situated at 1400 metres above sea-level, the coffee is a favorable cup known to locals. Chiang Mai University's Agricultural Research Department was tasked to research international produce that may be suitable for local farms, Kung Chang Khian has been found to be a formidable location to grow coffee beans and cold fruits such as peaches, persimmons, plums, avocados, macadamias and subtropical fruit trees such as lychees. Kui's trail will bring you to the heart of the coffee village for a cup of coffee. After a meal at the village, Kui takes his guest downhill to visit Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, the most sacred temple in Chiang Mai.
