7h Jungle Hike to see Gibbons & explore a hidden village
During this 7 hour journey you will visit a secret area where you will have a chance to spot gibbons, wander through a village, hike to a waterfall, enjoy a break at a local coffee shop, and learn about the local plants from a guide. A delicious lunch at a local restaurant is also included. The highlight of this experience is the opportunity to spot and support rehabilitated gibbons, as part of the tour fee goes towards their care. Although sightings are not guaranteed, the caretakers will help search for these amazing animals in the jungle canopy. This experience takes place in Mae Kampong, which has become a must-see destination in Chiang Mai, offering a charming atmosphere and plenty of activities. The hiking trails are often empty, allowing for a peaceful experience. The hike itself is gentle, suitable for moderate fitness levels, but sturdy shoes are recommended due to steep and uneven terrain.
