Join us to save Bali's dogs at a rescue shelter
It may surprise you to know that in Bali, indigenous dogs are misunderstood and undervalued. Many are abandoned or face the cruel dog meat trade. This problem was exacerbated during the Covid years when many dogs were mistreated and killed. So if you're a dog lover, this is a great cause to support. By joining this experience, you can be part of a rescue center's mission to give Bali dogs a second chance at life and the opportunity to find loving families. Here you'll learn about the history of the Bali Dogs and experience a first-hand encounter with this ancient dog breed while contributing to their rehabilitation process at a rescue facility. This unique experience allows you to get to know the tough and loyal Bali dogs, who have been roaming the island for centuries. Learn about their DNA mixture and the impact of imported dog breeds on their population. What to ExpectLearn about the history of Bali dogs and their indigenous breedVisit a rescue facility and meet Bali dogs undergoing rehabilitationWitness the process of gradually reintroducing traumatized dogs to contact with humansSupport the rescue center's efforts to find adoptive homes for Bali dogsReceive a certificate of volunteer supportParticipate in an Adoption Day event or help to walk the dogs**If your visit happens to be on an Adoption Day, you will be involved in the event-organizing and have a chance to witness the rescued dogs find new families.

Bali Conservation Adventures is a tourism-based initiative dedicated to supporting wildlife conservation in Bali. The Indonesian archipelago is home to numerous endangered animal species facing threats from wildlife trade and habitat loss. The organization believes that significant conservation efforts are crucial to prevent these species from going extinct. Collaborating with local conservation facilities, they aim to improve resources and increase the chances of survival for endangered species. Tourists visiting Bali can join this meaningful cause and make a lasting impact by supporting wildlife conservation during their adventure on the island.
