Escape the crowds and experience Bali as it was decades ago. This jungle trekking and canoeing adventure in Munduk takes you deep into ancient forests, past breathtaking hidden waterfalls, and across the sacred waters of Lake Tamblingan in a traditional dugout canoe. Unlike Bali’s more touristy spots, Munduk remains untouched – with enormous waterfalls even more impressive than the famous ones, but without the crowds. Even better, this experience directly supports nine local families, making it a meaningful way to explore Bali. Munduk and Canoe Trip - is there a discount if some of us want to skip the canoeing part and carry on walking in the jungle to the destination? How much is the discount if it applies.
KE, 27 Mar 2025
Hi! There will be no discount if some of you choose to skip the canoeing part and continue walking in the jungle. The price remains the same regardless of the activities you choose to participate in.
Munduk Jungle and Canoe trip - do we have to canoe on our own? How long is the canoeing part? I need to understand to plan my other activities other days to see if it is too strengtnous for my other activities the next few days, and to decide how many people to enrol as some might not be suitable for canoeing. Do you have one that we dont have to canoe on our own?
Kellin, 27 Mar 2025
HI Kellin, for the canoeing part, there will be a guide who will steer, so guests can just sit back and relax. We highly recommend joining the canoeing as it takes place in a very beautiful part of Tamblingan and lasts about 30 minutes. It’s not extreme at all—actually, it’s a very enjoyable and highly recommended activity after trekking.
I see that you offer free pick up/drop off anywhere in Bali. Then there is an add on to do pick up/drop off in Amed. Can you please explain that additional charge before I book?
Kara, 26 Jan 2025
The free pickup/drop-off is available for specific areas such as Seminyak, Kuta, Ubud, and Denpasar. However, if you're staying outside of these areas, such as Amed, there will be an additional charge for the transfer.
