We’ve used Seek Sophie so many times now and it’s just so easy. Like dangerously easy. One minute you’re thinking “maybe we should do something fun this weekend,” and next thing you know, you’ve booked a sunrise volcano hike or a boat to Komodo. No stress, no dodgy WhatsApp chains—just simple, clear info and solid options.It always feels really local too, which we love. Nothing ever feels mass-touristy or generic. And the whole vibe of the site is so chill—I genuinely thought there was a lucky duck named Sophie just out there living her best life and trying cool stuff for us to try too.We haven’t been steered wrong once. Every trip has been a hit. Can’t recommend it enough if you like things that are easy, fun, and not a complete rip-off.

Seek Sophie is an excellent portal through which to book distant travel packages. Having asked around my hotel and some of the other tour operators, the prices they quote are competitive, so you can be assured that you get a decent deal every time, and it is clear form speaking to the locals that they receive the bulk of the money that you pay, which is reassuring. Their tours are carefully selected from the better tour operators, so you should get a decent tour when in situ. A fantastic way to book tours in advance and save your precious holiday time for exploring, rather than shopping around the hundreds of vendors!

I often book experiences with Seek Sophie because they offer really unique ones which you don’t usually see on other platforms, such as Klook. The booking process is fuss-free and it’s easy to look up the experiences on their platform as well.I also see that the Seek Sophie team appreciates their users - they recently sent a birthday cake for an experience I booked to celebrate my husband’s birthday. I am really, really, really not a fan of group tours, and yet there are so many things on my bucket list that simply can't be done individually. When I found out about Seek Sophie, the underlying concept sounded too good to be true - but I gave it a shot and booked a river cruise in Sabah, Borneo...and I loved everything about it.No streamlined, generic programme, no pressure to socialize or party. Just a tour that focussed on the activities, the wildlife, and sharing the guides' expertise. I honestly wish I could give them at least 6 stars 🤩

100% recommended! I would give them more starts if would be possible! Seek Shopie is a company that helps you organizing your trips without trying to sell you something that is not what you are looking for. They care about you, they listen, they recommend and they finally organize everything in a personal , economic and safe way. I got their contact by chance and I can honestly say that I feel so greatful about it. They organized my Sipadan diving trip with only 2 days notice, and wooow! Best diving ever! Súper profesional, Excellent equipment and incredibly knowledgeable and respectful dive masters. I also booked a snorkeling tour with them and everything was excellent, but if I need to highlight something, is the treatment from Charmaine, she is just amazing and I feel really lucky having her giving me tips and recommendations.

I loved my experience with Seek Sophie. It really has it all: a bold and inspiring mission, an easy-to-use platform, and carefully curated experiences that result in wonderfully memorable trips. I knew before I went on my trip to climb Mount Kinabalu in 2018 that Seek Sophie really takes pride in finding local guides who are passionate about sharing their local environments and care about providing positive experiences for tourists. But I was ABSOLUTELY blown away by what a difference that can make in practice. Our guides on Mount Kinabalu were absolute life-savers; they made sure our whole group of different levels of fitness were cared for and felt safe and comfortable. When my legs gave up about halfway down the mountain, one of our guides basically carried me down the rest of the way.Now, whenever I am taking a trip to Southeast Asia, I always check first if I can book through Seek Sophie as I know I will be in good hands and have an amazing experience.

I joined Seek Sophie's community trip to Chiang Mai and it genuinely touched me deeply. To hear the local's stories, walk with my feet in the water, watch the magnificent elephants and be one with nature was truly such an experience. We were so well taken care of the entire trip as well! Fern is such a bright light, she brought so much positive energy which set the tone for the entire week. She constantly ensured we were safe and having a great time. She also facilitated so many meaningful conversations that got us all to open up and share our life experiences with one another - these vulnerable moments were a highlight for me. Did the Community trip to hike Mt Rinjani with Seek Sophie and highly, highly recommend it to people nervous about doing something new or difficult. Administratively Seek Sophie was great- fast response time, quick clarifications on any questions, very detailed itinerary. We were on this trip with Jun, who was very efficient with all of the work behind the scenes, communicating with the guides, drivers, hosts- we were never left waiting, and were also never rushed. She facilitated the whole group so well, making sure to check in on everyone and was always thoughtful. Despite her coworker having to drop out of the trip, she handled everything alone. And she did all this while exhausted from doing a very difficult hike alongside us! The hike itself was very physically and mentally challenging, especially the descent from the summit. It is also quite dangerous at certain spots (fatally steep drops, slippery surfaces etc) so absolute focus is important. I actually found being part of a decently sized group (11 people including Jun) helpful to keep everyone pushing themselves along. Camping is quite gritty, although it was eased significantly by the efficiency and hospitality of the porters. It is also eased by the very comfortable and relaxed Saifana farm stay for the last two days. I highly recommend this trip, it was an amazing experience thanks to Seek Sophie, Jun, the guides and porters, Saifana hosts, and the rest of the group.

We created this community trip because we really wanted travellers to see a deeper side of Lombok - not just the summit, but the people and communities behind the mountain too. Rudy’s team is one of the best on Rinjani, and we love working with them not just because they’re excellent guides and porters, but because they care deeply for the mountain. They regularly help pick up trash along the trails, which is such important work in keeping Rinjani beautiful for everyone.

We’re also really happy that you got to spend time at Saifana after the hike. They’re doing incredible work regenerating the land and supporting the local community, and we wanted that part of the trip to feel like a time of reconnecting and grounding after the grit of the mountain. Hope you managed to get some good rest there :)

went with Fern to Chiang Mai and it was so so amazing. Fern took really good care of us and ensure that everything was going smoothly. can feel and see that Fern really put in a lot of heart work for this trip, we love her so much ❤️ we got to learn so much about the amazing things that BEES does and the impact they’re trying to make in their local community and for their animals. it was really heartening to see that our trip has helped in different ways, it’s not always we get to see the impact we made when we travel. the love and kindness we received from the people and animals of BEES will always have a special place in our hearts. yidan’s farmstay and the astro dinner was such a delight. yidan has so many ideas and really, the courage to leave everything behind and start fresh in a new country is admirable. linda’s culinary skills are tiptop (dave’s too!) and every meal was so good. i love that this part of the trip helped us slow down and think about our city lives. this trip was refreshing as it’s all girls, we have safe spaces to share and grow. i’m sure many of us made friends and found people we can travel with next time!

So hearing that you felt safe, looked after and able to connect with the group is really, really special for us.

It also means so much that you got to see the work that BEES does. They’re the unsung heroes of elephant conservation in Thailand, and one of the main reasons we created this trip was because we really wanted more people to know about these local heroes. There are hundreds, maybe thousands, of places in Thailand calling themselves elephant sanctuaries, but many still allow riding, bathing or close-contact activities that aren’t actually good for the elephants. BEES is one of the small handful doing things differently - putting the elephants first, supporting the local community, and doing amazing work that doesn’t always get the spotlight.

So we’re really happy that you got to experience that, and see the impact of your trip so directly. That’s exactly what we hope these community trips can do - help travellers travel more deeply, really connect with the people doing meaningful work on the ground, and also know that their travels are making such an impact.

We’re also so glad you loved Yidan’s farmstay, the astro dinner, and Linda and Dave’s amazing food. That part of the trip was designed to help remember a slower rhythm - a chance to step out of city life for a little while, eat from the land, look up at the sky, and reconnect with ourselves and each other.

Fern was a really great host for the community trip I joined. I really can’t ask for a better host who is always taking care of us, entertaining us, putting us first in all situations. The overall experience was spectacular. Our driver ‘Dody’ was the best. 11/10 customers service scored by him. He took us to his house and had his wife cooking for us. It was such a homie feeling and wonderful. The local guide who took us through the jungle trekking was awesome as well. Learned some history about the place and he was very interactive towards the end.

The website is clear, trips fairly price and carefully handpicked. I had a huge pleasure on going on one trip booked through this company, but I had to cancel another one. The support I got from the Seek Sophie when I asked for a refund was stellar. They could simply have said the trip is non-refundable (it was clearly stated) but they immediately started looking for (and succeeded in finding) a replacement guest. The whole team, especially Rina, has been extremely nice and helpful.

Truly one of the most joyful, thoughtful, and human trips I’ve ever joined. What made this Komodo trip special was not only the beautiful places, manta rays, sunsets, pink beaches, and Komodo dragons, but the people behind the experience. The whole trip felt genuinely thoughtful and community driven rather than commercial or transactional. I really appreciated how the itinerary went beyond typical tourist spots and created meaningful connections with local communities, conservation efforts, local food culture, and even activities supporting local children and coral restoration. Winna and Putri were absolutely amazing throughout the trip. They are warm, caring, organized, and full of energy. You could genuinely feel how much heart they put into making everyone feel comfortable and connected. The Navali boat crew was incredible as well. Everyone made us feel so cared for every single day, and honestly the food felt like dining in a floating 5-star Michelin restaurant. Roy was such a thoughtful and genuine guide, while Amir captured so many beautiful moments naturally through his photography. By the end of the trip, a group of strangers somehow felt like a little family. One of the most memorable travel experiences I’ve had in years.

We created our Komodo Community Trips because we’ve been to Komodo over 25 times, and we wanted travellers to experience it the way we’ve come to love it - not just the beautiful islands, manta rays, pink beaches and dragons, but the people, stories and local heroes behind the place.

This trip took us around 6 months to plan and pull together, from finding the right boat and crew, to working with local conservationists, community projects, food makers and guides who care deeply about Komodo. I found this place by google search and booked a private class for my husband and I. A young lady gave us a nice tour of the surrounding including bakery and cooking class room, spice planting, chicken and geese keeping, honey and insects, etc. it’s quite fun to see different of plants and herbs. My booking class allows me to do 3 different types of pizza from dough to oven cooking. Very detailed processions were introduced by the instructor Candice. And we enjoy eating our own pizzas when get done cookings.
