Wonderful experience. The location is absolutely stunning with the beautiful farm/garden. We cooked with their organic produce and everything turned out delicious. The cooking was fun and I learned some new things and the staff was very lovely. Would absolutely recommend this class, even if you are not vegan it’s worth it for the fantastic location.

We had two families total 9 people and did two day-tours with Justin and his team - Nusa Penida and customized trip to North Bali (waterfalls, temples, coffee plantation). Please see our other review also. The day trips with Justin and his team of locals was easily the highlight of our trip to Bali. Tourism is tearing through Bali and its easy to miss the real jewel of Bali - the people- the fragile local Balinese culture that is unique to Indonesia. Justin and his team have opened their homes and backyards to share with you a glimpse of this local culture and the incredible hospitality, kindness, and gentle-nature of the Balinese people. Everyone we met was genuinely enthusiastic to share with us their daily lives - nothing was "touristy" or overdone and we always felt we were uniquely special visitors. If you want a special experience that few tourists to Bali get to see - any of the day trips with Justin and his team will be easily be the best part of your trip. A huge thanks to Justin and his team!

We had the most wonderful day with Kadek Dony! He has the warmest energy, infectious smile, and is very knowledgeable about Balinese customs, history, and Hinduism. He is a Hindu priest! He took us to Goa Lawah, the bat cave temple, Kertagosa Park, and a delicious beachside dinner in Jimbaran Bay. We had a great time learning from him and chatting about music with him on our custom private tour.

Justin’s communication was excellent before and during our trip to Ubud. He is very knowledgeable and had valuable recommendations but was also flexible and adapted around what our group had in mind already. I would say that his best quality for our group was that he knew how to read the room. We were a group of 6 so there was plenty of conversation going on within the group and my only regret was that we didn’t have more time to benefit from his local knowledge. Next time, for sure! Selecting a jewel design and contributing to its fabrication is fun and satisfying and it wouldn’t be possible without the skilled jewelers doing most of the work. They also looked like they took pride in the work they had done for us. We had a great family activity and made nice souvenirs. Thank you!

I love the piece I made. The teachers were friendly and even allowed me to incorporate a gemstone when usually that is too difficult for a beginner to do. My teacher helped me a lot and really brought my design to life. The warung is also lovely. You get to eat your food with a view of the river and suspension bridge. Overall it was a really cool experience and the location was just gorgeous.

We had such a fun time making silver jewellery. You get to choose the kind of jewellery you want to make from a wide selection. The silver was melted and hammered a couple of times before it was being moulded into rings. The final steps were buffing and polishing to make the rings look super bling! The whole process took about an hour. Thank you Seek Sophie for your recommendation!
