This was an absolutely amazing experience. We got very lucky and only shared the entire yatch with two other guests. I'm very glad I booked with Sunshine Cruises and had a bespoke and private experience. I saw other boats filled to the brim with people. Also, the boat is very new and very luxurious. It's an insane value for money. I do recommend the 2D1N tour in general as I personally would have found it a bit boring to do the 3D2N tour.

Had a great day with Tien. Was nice to see beautiful uncrowded spots of La Han Bay and spend more time on a kayak exploring the islands, caves and secret lagoons. Felt like we were given a local tour with more of a personal touch, rather than a commercialized visit. Best part of visiting Cat Ba :)

Had a great day with Tien. Was nice to see beautiful uncrowded spots of La Han Bay and spend more time on a kayak exploring the islands, caves and secret lagoons. Felt like we were given a local tour with more of a personal touch, rather than a commercialized visit. Best part of visiting Cat Ba :)

My family and I loved absolutely everything about the Cat Ba ocean cruise. The rooms were so comfortable and beautifully decorated. The food was plentiful, varied, well presented and delicious.When speaking with travellers from other cruises we realised our food was beyond anything they were receiving because our was truly exceptional. 
 The staff were all welcoming, helpful and so friendly always checking if we were happy or needing anything. 
 All the activities were well organised and again varied each day from Kayaking, cooking classes of an evening,village visiting, home visits for lunch in a families authentic country house and hiking in to see a cave in the national park. All activities were planned so not to damage the environments and to help bring business to the local people. 
 I can’t recommend this cruise more than to say it was easily a 15/10 experience that I would happily do again.

We did a kayaking, boat and dinner tour with Chans in Cat Ba and had the best day! As promised, it was a very small group, and he took us to remote spots away from the usual tourist traps. The whole day felt relaxed and never rushed, and he went above and beyond to take photos and show us the best of the archipelago. We finished by visiting local fishermen’s homes before enjoying the most amazing fresh fish meal. Excellent value for money and highly recommended!
