Very authentic experience. Chans has a great depth of experience and knowledge about the area, after growing up kayaking and fishing alongside the local fisherman. We kayaked through hidden lagoons only accessible by cave, where no other tourists were. We dug for saltwater muscles, collected oysters and tried our hand at fishing (no bites today). We prepared the muscles on our campfire on a secluded bay as the sun set and Chans (luckily) had bought some home cooked rice, pork and spring rolls so we didn’t go hungry. We kayaked after the sun went down through bioluminescent plankton and returned to cai beo village for a pot of tea with the local fisherman. Before we set off for home we stopped in at a local restaurant on the pier and sampled sashimi and oysters washed down by a few beers. It was the most perfect day, and an experience not many tourists would have the pleasure of experiencing in lan ha bay. I recommend this tour to everyone. It’s so important as tourists we see and experience the life of the people who inhabit and work the land we are coming to see. Loved every minute and would highly recommend Chans tours to anyone. Infact we have booked another one today!!

I absolutely loved every minute on that cruise. It was my first time on such a modern cruise and I was Solo Traveling but had the best time ever. All the staff members take such good care they are friendly attentive and always there if you need something. The rooms are beautiful and you have an incredible view with a small balcony and every room has a bathtub with view as well. The food was very delicious but if you are not into seafood tell the staff in advance and they will prepare a super alternative for you. Everything is well planned you are never bored but also you have enough time on your own and if you dont want to participate in the activities its absolutely no problem. I personally loved the Foot Massage (probably the best I ever had) and the evening meditation with Emma on the upper deck that was pure magic. I can truly recommend this cruise trip to everyone! Especially cause its a modern eco-friendly boat , very intimate and a beautiful staff almost like hanging around with friends. Its a lot of money you pay BUT every penny was worth it! Thank you again for everything definitely one of my highlights of this trip✨❤️

From the start till the end, the experience was FANTASTIC! We were picked up at our hotel in the Old Quarter by our guide, Tiger. Tiger has done a fantastic job. He had a lot of energy and kept informing us about the program throughout our 2 days. He gave us a lot of information about Vietnam, its people, its culture, its way of living. Not only have we discovered beautiful places, we also learned a lot. UniCharm's specificity is that they brought us to a less touristic route in the Halong Bay area. As mentioned by Tiger, tourists don't like to see tourists around. We could enjoy beautiful sceneries without having other tourists' boats around us. The boat was perfect. The staff was very attentive to satisfy all our needs. Everyone always had a big smile to give. On the first day, we went canoeing for 2 hours...practically all alone with the other guests of the boat. Beautiful feeling. Amazing landscape! The 2nd day, early in the morning, we went cycling and that gave us another view of how Vietnamese people are living on an island. We definitely recommend UniCharm for the great organization of the whole experience, for Tiger, who was an amazing tour guide, for the nice and very special route we had the chance to take at Halong Bay: from the pick up at our hotel till the return to our hotel, we enjoyed every minutes of it! This is the only tour that will take you to secret spots and beautiful escapes only someone with a lifetime of knowledge of the area would know. Some of the highlights of the tour were joining a local fishing family to eat crab with them on they're fishing boat. Adventuring into secret caves on kayak. Seeing the beautiful nature the area has to offer in a small group. Tien picked times and places to visit certain areas in a way that avoids other tour groups and tourist. Which gave us a much more peaceful and enjoyable experience. We highly reccomended this tour. No other tour offers what tien can, book it now! 😄
