The trip was nice, our guide took care of everything and we were able to just enjoy the surroundings. What could be better is the itinerary - the first stop we had in Ha Long Bay was a very small island (Ti Top island) with a viewpoint on top and a beach, but apparently most boats come here so the island was very crowded. We would have preferred to either come at a different time or not to come at all. Also, the photos of the cabin we saw on Seek Sophie website do not match the real life at all. We liked our cabin, but our expectations were very different. Overall, I would still recommend this trip, especially the kayaking part was great:) But make sure you come in the warmer months if possible as it can get pretty chilly on the boat in winter.

This was a good experience. If you want a less touristy, a bit more authentic bay experience than this is definitely it. As the boat is small, you connect with the other guests better which makes this cruise a more social experience. The only negative thing was that the hot water didn’t work in the shower. All in all good value for the price.

Luxurious and relaxing experience on the cruise. The staff were really polite and accommodating, they even assigned individual “butlers” to every group and were really attentive to our needs. Although the schedule for 2D1N was a little packed so it might feel really short if you want to try your hands on the activities but also want time to unwind and use the cruise facilities. I imagine it would be better if we did the 3D2N trip instead.

This truly felt like one of the best and most luxurious ways to experience the stunning beauty of Halong Bay! As someone who loves to indulge a little, this luxury cruise was absolutely perfect. From the moment we stepped on board, everything was seamless and thoughtfully designed to make us feel pampered and relaxed. The rooms were beautiful, and the gourmet meals were delicious with oysters and lobsters. The level of service was exceptional and I loved how they went the extra mile, even addressing me by name when serving meals. It was the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable Halong Bay experience! But maybe book the 3D2N one, 2D1N felt a little rushed and we weren't ready to go back!

The single day catamaran cruise is an excellent way to experience the stunning beauty of Halong Bay. We didn’t feel like we missed anything in opting for a single day, instead of an overnight cruise. The shuttle from Hanoi was well organized, picking us up promptly at our hotel. Traffic out of Hanoi at rush hour is a grind. But the ride was comfortable. Immediately on boarding the catamaran we were served a four course lunch of excellent quality, with top notch service. The boat took us out to some of the caves that are nested in the Bay’s islands. For a couple of hours we explored the caves by small boats, a choice of self-powered kayaks, or craft rowed by local women. After returning to the catamaran we had the opportunity to swim, were given a lesson in Vietnamese cooking, and served afternoon tea. The trip was highly efficient and excellent value for money. This was a lovely experience. We really appreciated the small size of the group and were so lucky to be with great people on this adventure. The scenery is gorgeous, the activities are enjoyable, and the boat was comfortable. My husband who tends to get very seasick was able to enjoy this trip without sickness because the waters were calm. Our tour guide, Jack, was fantastic! He was kind, funny, informative, and kept everyone on schedule. The crew took such good care of us.
