We had such a unique and amazing experience at the Firefly conservation. The location is magical and everybody who works there is very passionate about the project. I learned so much about the fireflies and there environment. We also where asked to help prepare this delicious dinner that we shared together. Thanks to everybody from the project for making us feel very welcome 🤍

We really like the fireflies, they are truly magical to see at night with no lights on! We believe in a few years time and Wayan’s effort to conserve the fireflies, we will get a field full of them. I truly applaud Wayan and team’s effort, dedication,passion and commitment in conserving fireflies. We had a lot of fun in other activities such as cooking and seeing the farm animals!We loved the whole experience with strangers and friends!

This was hands down the most amazing experience I had in Bali. Novi, a biologist, had a wealth of knowledge about fireflies and her enthusiasm for the work was so contageous! I feel like I learned a lot and it made me want to look into fireflies conservation even more. Wayan spent time with us explaining how the project started and how his passion has led him here. He has started a lot of initiatives with the local community to raise awarness about fireflies disappearing and educate people about organic farming. It was truly inspiring. The place is also incredible. It is so lush and it feels like being in a fantasy world. Novi showed us where the farmers live and explained to us what traditional Balinese life looks like. It was the highlight of my trip to Bali and I could not recommend it more!

What Wayan and his family have built here is truly amazing, a true inspiration to any conservation project (and I say that as a conservationist from New Zealand). The whole experience was grounded in a deep respect and reverence for not just the fire flies, but also the people and culture they've impacted. We really enjoyed gaining a glimpse into local life, the cooking experience was great and made amazing food (and so much too!). Saw heaps of fireflies too which was the cherry on top of an amazing night. Couldn't recommend more. Also, all the staff, especially the biologists, were super passionate and truly care about their work.

We had two wonderful days, trekking north of Sapa. Our guide San May was absolutely kind, knowledgable and fun. Throughout the day we came across many beautiful vistas and a few lovely locals. In the afternoon we arrived at our cute homestay, which was exactly as we wanted it to be. Not fancy, very down to earth, we had everything we needed and met wonderful hosts, whith whom we cooked, talked and laughed all evening. Transportation and contact with the Seek Sophie team was perfect, so we can warmly recommend, taking your next trip with them. Thank you!
