Absolutely incredible experience! From the moment we arrived, Wayan and his family treated us to the most unique adventure in Bali. A definite “must do” activity !

We had an amazing time! It was amazing to see fireflies in the wild and to learn about them more in the lab. But it is so much more then fireflies: we’ve had a chance to take a closer look at Balinese life, see beautiful rice fields, have a cooking class!

It was so inspirational and educational learning about the ‘bring back the light’ initiative and seeing the fireflies light up. Truly appreciate the experience and all the work that you guys do and the yummy Balinese food! Unforgettable experience. As for tips I would just recommend socks and runners if possible as I had open toe slippers on and got ant bites on the rice field while foraging for natural leaves for dinner (fun experience but I’d come more prepared next time they were painful bites!)

I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to learn about Balinese nature and culture away from the touristspots! Wayan and his family are lovely and super welcoming. They showed me around their land, thought me about the fireflies and cooked the most delicious meal for me. Seeing the fireflies in the rice fields at night was magical! This was a day I will not soon forget. Thank you Wayan and family! <3

A fantastic experience. Loved spending time with everyone, and learning about the challenges that fireflies face. Loved their balanced approach to the problem, and seeing the fireflies glow in the dark was truly magical. Making dinner, and eating it was also a great experience. Highly recommend if you want to get off the beaten track in Bali.

Wow - I am absolutely obsessed with this family and this lovely conservatory!! Not only did I learn a ton about fireflies - They taught me about bali culture, prepared a meal with me (everything fresh from their lush gardens), taught me the healing properties of the different plants here, and were just absolutely wonderful people! This is a special place for sure

100% worthy! We were very happy to participate on the Bali Heritage Dogs Experience program. We spent a good time, learn more about the Bali Dogs, and the incredible work being done towards their protection. We also got the chance to spend some good quality time taking them for a walk in the beach. It was lovely.
We super recommend since it's a win-win-win situation: you learn, you support and you have fun!

Amazing private tour through Sapa. We had a really nice guide Ser. Who could tell us everything about the surroundings and the people living there, while we had an anmazing hike through different mountain paths and streams. Would definitely recommend this!!
