This tour brought us to Mekong's key spots! I especially liked going to see Mekong floating market. We got to hear more about the locals' lives and try the less touristy snacks in the space.
It was also great that we were on a sampan because it used less fuel and it could bring us to the smaller alleys and corners of the place. The guide explained that using the bigger boat was not great for the environment since their trips still continued no matter what, e.g. if there were only 2 people the boats would still go out and it would be a waste of fuel. Also those boats would only go to the floating market and directly back so it would be quite a basic trip.
However, some spots did have quite a few groups of tourists going - e.g. the rice paper factory and the cacao farm, so it didn't feel very off the beaten path! Ultimately it was still interesting to see but it might have been better if there were less crowds.

Really good trip out of HCM to visit the floating marketing. This floating market is for locals and hence requires a bit more travel out of HCM. Spent quite a bit of time out on the river, including time for breakfast and fruits. Then paid a visit to a rice noodle factory and chocolate factory guide Thuy was fantastic, she was a joy to be with and very patient with me and my 7 year old daughter. Can consider pairing with a trip to lung ngoc hoang - green lung of Mekong - if there is time. Strongly recommend if you want a local experience without the tourist traps eg shopping etc.

We had a great and an amazing Tour with Thinh, our Guide and Man our Boat driver. We got a lot of information about local life, saw the beautiful swimming market and learned how to make rice noodels. The cacao Farm was very interesting, too. Thinh had always answers for our questions. He is a very kindly and funny guide. Had a wonderful day with him

We did the floating market tour from Sài Gòn (HCMC) with Tom. Everything went perfect, he was really nice and he even did some recommendations for our trip. The tour was amazing, we were the only ones in the canals, so if you are looking for a real experience, don’t hesitate to ask them.

Today I had the pleasure of going on a trip to the floating market in Mekong Delta and it was an incredible experience! Our tour guide, Ngan, was fantastic and made the trip even better. We arrived in time for the sunrise and were able to admire the exotic products on display at the floating market. After enjoying breakfast on our boat, we sailed down small canals to authentic villages, which was a unique and memorable experience.
One of the highlights of the trip was visiting the handmade chocolate farm, where we met the only man in Vietnam who makes chocolates with his own technique and recipe. It was fascinating to learn about his process and see the chocolate being made from start to finish. We even got to try eating and drinking chocolate, which was delicious!
Overall, I highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants to experience the local culture and cuisine in a unique and unforgettable way. Ngan was a great tour guide who made the trip even more enjoyable with her friendly and informative commentary. Don't miss out on this amazing opportunity!

We took the tour from HCMC to the Can Tho market and cacao farm, Lily and Daniel were great hosts, funny, helpful, and always willing to take a detour or share a story.
This tour takes you on a smaller boat and lets you go into the market, really getting up close and being able to sample some of the delicious noodles, coffee, and fruits, and also get to know the vendors.
The tour was really enjoyable, from our early pick up in HCMC, our boat ride through the market and the small side canals, to the rice noodle factory and cocoa farm, Lily clearly cares for her community and is happy to share her beautiful slice of Vietnam with visitors.
