The place is not easy to get to, with many narrow winding roads, but once you get there it’s a charming spot right next to the yellow bridge. The staff were friendly and helpful as they guided us step by step to make our rings. Be prepared to get some arm and leg exercise in during the process! We ended up only taking around 30 minutes to complete our rings, but I guess it depends on the complexity of the ring design you choose. We enjoyed the experience and left with a greater appreciation for the hard work that goes into craftsmanship. There’s also a bar and restaurant downstairs within the same place that overlooks the beautiful river!

This place was hard to find!!! The drive there was long, but very beautiful going up and down the mountains. (allow at least 2 hours from most places in South Bali to get there.) It was a bit vague what we were supposed to do once we got there, so we kind of guessed and had a look at the jewellery on display for ideas. Eventually a lovely lad came up and asked us what we wanted to make. He was super interactive and knowledgeable and helped us every step of the way. He got us to do some parts, and helped with the more tricky bits. We were really happy with the little pendants we made. Be aware it is all outside, so if you need air con this is not for you!! We really enjoyed it, just could have been a little better if we had been greeted and told what to do when we got there. Transport is not included in the price so you need to hire a driver!
