The trek was great and quite challenging in places. Our guide was very informative and kept a good pace. We had booked a private trek because we didn't want to be in a group, but ended up picking up 2 other people along the way because a member of their group was struggling. No problem with that though. Lunch was very basic so you might want to bring some of your own food.

We really enjoyed our trek with Tamtam. Because we had a private tour, we were not really bothered by local sellers and could quietly enjoy our tour! It was interesting to hear more about Tamtam’s live and the dinner at Zizi’s was great.

So welcoming and helpful. It’s a beautiful Homestay very very clean with the welcoming alpine smell of pine warmed in the sun as you enter the bedrooms. The whole family are courteous, kind and knowledgable. The animals are well looked after and friendly.
